Israeli Army Hate Training!!

There are three moral standards used in the world: one, the strictest, for Israel, one, an average one, for most of the rest of the world, and one, the most lenient, for Arabs and/or Muslims.

The reason Israel is held to a different standard, higher than the rest of the world, is that it is the Jewish nation. We have here a mixture of "blame Israel first" antisemitism, by some people, and "after all the Jews suffered, they must be more moral than everybody else" well-meaning, but misguided, demand for higher moral standards.

The reason Hamas is held to a different, lower, standard than the rest of the world, is that they are Muslims (in general) and Arabs (in particular). Here, we have a mixture of "well, what can you expect from such savages? No point making a fuss about it" outright racism, and "well, the poor dears suffered colonialism, so they have no choice but to act savagely..." well meaning, but misguided, demand for lower moral standards.

This is unfair to the Jews, as it holds them to a higher moral standard that cannot possibly be met, and then blames them for it. But it is downight degrading and racist towards the Arab-Muslims, since they are presumed to be not fully human, not creatures who could be expected to act in a civilized or non-violent manner, it's only a disagreement about whether they are such by nature, or due to colonialism.

P.S

If the Arab-Muslims really couldn't act differently, no choice remains but to kill them or isolate them all from the rest of the world, for the same reason we isolate and even kill violent animals. The violent animal might have very good reason, due to mistreatment, to be violent; but since it cannot act differently, the world must be protected from it.

Yes Israel is held to a different standard. it is allowed to get away with atrocities, even in 2009 that other countries would be highly condemned for.

I've never seen such unconditional support for the racist and expansionist agenda as we see from Israel.

But of course Skeptic you cannot see that can you? To you Israel does no wrong so the only reason people like myself criticize it is because we hate Jews. Isn't that right Skeptic?:rolleyes:

How should the Palestinians defend themselves against the persecution dealt out by Israel?

If it was not for the suicide bombings there would be NO seperation wall.

If it was not for the constant shootings and attacks on civilians, there would be no blockades and chechpoints.

If it was not for the constant murder the Palestinians would lead a much more normal life.

Have no doubts TFT, most of the Israeli restrictions and actions against the Palestinians are disproportional and unfair. But...they are also a direct reaction and a direct result of Palestinian attacks against Israeli non-combatant civilians.

One could only imagine how much better life would be for the Palestinians if they at the very least....ONLY targeted Israeli soldiers.

What wonderful results have the Palestinians violence against Israeli civilians brought them? Death, destruction, misery, and no state.

The Palestinians seem to refuse to learn a very simple lesson: Israel does not reward terrorism.

Again, avoiding my question. But that's ok! It's becoming routine!

Is a peaceful approach completley out of the question? Non-violent resistance would garner a lot more support than, say, the bombing of a pizza-shop or a bus. Given time, of course.

Now answer mine!

I don't avoid your questions. Israel should also take a non-violent approach. it should also stop it's apartheid, expansionism, withdraw from the west bank, withdraw from Jerusalem and the triangle of land to the west of Jerusalem.

I don't expect Israel to stop it's agenda, but if it did maybe people wouldn't get desperate enough to suicide bomb or fire rockets at it.

Israel is the instigator of all this. The Palestinians didn't suddenly create a country and drive out 800,000 people often violently and then spend the next 60 years racially persecuting them

300 years of slavery and segregation and how did American blacks get the right to vote and end discrimination? Did they resort to mass killings of white civilians? No. They peacefully marched..and brought down oppression.

years and years of violence against innocent civilians have not only NOT brought the Palestinians their own state, but their situation is MUCH MUCH worse then it was 20 years ago.

but the Palestinians are welcome to continue their fruitless uprising and murder of civilians. it only gives the Israelis more excuse to build more settlements and put off a State of Palestine for another generation.

The greatest ally of right-wing Zionism...is Palestinian violence. They could not thank you enough.

There could not be a greater symbiotic relationship then between the two.

How many rockets landed inside of Israel before this latest conflict? You are stressing that when a society reaches its limits, it is within reason to respond militarily as seen below -
but if it did maybe people wouldn't get desperate enough to suicide bomb or fire rockets at it

But Israel is not allowed to become so desperate that they use their artillery and warplanes, which brings us back full circle to the original question, which was,

And instead should do WHAT? Regardless of the 'Zionist plot', what should Israel do when Hamas, Fatah, AAMB, or any such group launches rockets into its' territory? You have condemned the rockets, and agreed that Israel should defend itself. HOW should it defend itself in the immediate aftermath of a rocket attack?

Please stop this ducking and weaving. Israel still has a responsibility to secure the safety of its' citizens, regardless of any nefarious plots it may have. What should it do in the immediate aftermath of a rocket attack?

Israel is the instigator of all this.

Applause.

At least someone here recognizes this apart from me.

If the Palestinians themselves stopped using violence the Zionists would create Flase Flag violence. It wouldn't surprise me if this hadn't already been done in some cases.

And you accuse me of ducking and weaving? You roll your eyes at the very history of the region over the last 110 years and expect to be taken seriously?

Whats the point in arguing with someone who is so deluded they blank out actual history?

Go away and at least learn the history before poking your nose in something you clearly no nothing about.

You roll your eyes at the very history of the region over the last 110 years and expect to be taken seriously?

Is that what you took it to mean? It could not have been your blatant bias, could it?

If I say, 'The Palestinians are the instigators of all of this' you would react the sameway - confused, angry, etc. Neither side is in a position to claim their hands are clean in this conflict.

Who said anyone had their hands clean? I said Israel is the instigators in all this. You rolled your eyes.

Oh I get it, you were agreeing with me then. I normally use the roll eyes emoticon when I don't agree and I think something is BS. But each to their own.

Use whatever emoticon you want, but don't complain when someone reacts upon the emoticon's universally accecpted meaning

Ahh....the truther speaks. Do you believe that 9-11 was a Mossad job?

Why 110 years? Why not 60 years, or 10 years, or 2,000 years? I mean, if you're going to argue that a particular "side" is the instigator, and therefore ultimately to blame, you'll need to offer up a very good argument for drawing an arbitrary line in history and claiming "it starts here". So let's hear it. What happened in 1899 that makes it the crucial point in the history of the Levant?

It worked in Northern Ireland. The British didn't bomb Northern Ireland even though the terrorists had caused many civilian deaths with bombings in both Northern Ireland and the British mainland.

And to note, the carnage in Northern Ireland lasted half the time it's lated in Palestine.

The big difference is that the British didn't have an agenda to take over land

Well there is also another slight difference. The IRA weren't firing 20 rockets a day across the Irish sea.

:eye-poppi

Do you know anything about Northern Ireland?

If the Palestinians had been lead by Ghandi rather than Arafat I think they would have had a state long ago. Unfortunately, Hinduism and Islam have different principles.
