In every single case I'm aware of (high ranking nazis, French Vichy officials sending Jewish children to death camps, French officers condoning/ordering torture in Algeria, right wing leaders "explaining" why their followers killed immigrants), the pattern has always been to find justification for their actions/orders, but to deny responsibility. For those swines, responsibility rests with the victims.

I wasn't so much referring to the troofers as to our raving antisemite on this thread ... should enough people believe his fantasies and act upon them, he would most likely gloat about it but never dirty his hands or acknowledge responsibility for the ugly results.

That has actually been the situation in legal cases involving neo-Nazi outfits like "The Order," the "Aryan Brotherhood," and so on. They publicly deny intentions of violence, but when caught on tape, or ratted out in testimony by their buddies, their true violent designs come out. They do indeed gloat over things like killing radio host Alan Berg or prattle about having their enemies skinned alive.

And your earlier post, about how the Nazis and Vichy militia leaders at their trials, would deny responsibility and blame the victims is quite true. They did not deny the crimes...they just said they were only obeying orders and that the Jews got what they deserved.
