Is this for real??

I wonder how much Gage paid for this advert.

He got people there. Abby Martin of RT is a former office volunteer for AE911Truth and WAC activist, which apparently are perfect credentials for this station. I'm surprised that it wasn't her who covered this. ;)

I wouldn't be surprised if Abby Martin has perhaps reconsidered some of her previous statements. My sense is that people tend to surround themselves with others who they essentially agree with and this isolates them from other views. Perhaps upon joining RT she felt compelled to attempt objectivity and was exposed to some different thinking and decided to pull back on her position. One wonders of the management simply told her being a strong advocate for 9/11 truth would undermine her credibility and so she held her views but zipped it up. Clearly RT is trying to reach a wider audience albeit has a wider audience and wants to be taken seriously. As such radical views about 9/11 are still considered not facts, but opinions, theories and yet to be proven (if even) assertions... which truthers want others to believe, RT has chosen not to promote what it can't prove as fact. The alternative is to present it as a debate of the two sides and the truther one is quite radical and transgressive for a large media outlet in the US. It seems to be covered more like a group of impassioned individuals who believe the facts are on their side... but the presentations don't measure up. They advance the usual slur against the media... high paid shills hired to lie. While they could be liars, being well paid does not make someone a liar.

Has anyone actually asked Abby Martin for her current position on the matter?

Seems as if Abby is about to resume where she left off with her CT theories when she joined RT and is now about to launch them on RT this coming week.

Well, she did the "groups of architects, firefighters and politicians are questioning the official 9/11 story" thing recently in a rather passionate reaction to Rachel Maddow's attack on truthers, calling the "official" account propaganda, even though she appeared to take more of a LIHOP position in that piece.

Did Rachel Maddow actually address Bob McIlvane by name?

Not that I noticed. I found it quite strange that the clip makes much of Maddow's supposed attack on him yet when they play a clip of her speaking, they choose one in which she isn't doing it. So if RT is willing to knowingly stretch the truth so far on that point, how much are they willing to do so on the other points?

I think all "official accounts" are PR and could be called propaganda. I don't consider the CD stuff as anything but a fairytale... but there were aspects to the official narrative which smack of propaganda or PR to me. But painting the entire event with a broad stroke propaganda is pretty irresponsible... and a cheap shot... sound and fury signifying nothing.

Holy crap; how can you pack that much stupid in one video? A skill perfected by RT.

The Northwoods stuff is great. A plan rejected, is used for support of a fantasy "plan" dumber than Northwoods, that "was executed" in the fantasy 911 truth has. The 911 truth version of 911, which can't be expressed, or summarized, or agreed upon by 911 truth.

I think all "official accounts" are PR and could be called propaganda. ...
for who?

19 terrorists did 911. The official account. Yes, UBL can do something. PR for UBL. Debunks the failed 911 truth claim 19 'cave dwellers" can't do it.

It takes thousands to execute 911 in fantasy 911 truth has. Only 19 in the reality based "official accounts" backed with evidence.

I can see why people are fooled by 911 truth; some need to find fault with the "official story". Then it never materialized ...

She's making international news now. I just read an article on the large german news site Spiegel Online about her expressing her anger about Russia's invasion of the Crimea in her RT show. Google News tells me that there are also articles about this on a number of other german news sites.

Given that RT is firing on all propaganda cylinders at the moment, this is a rather bold move. Kudos to her for this one. Might also dramatically increase the market value of her name.
