Is this a parody site?

Ours bodies are electo-magnetic in nature. These rings are electro-magnetic in nature. What happens when magnets interact? They either repel or attract. There's a force at work.

The site tells you how to make your own. I'll consider doing just that.

Actually the iron is our blood (in haemoglobin) is weakly diamagnetic, so its repelled by magnetic fields.

I found a hunk of plastic on the ground. The nuclei of atoms are held together by the strong nuclear force. Both I and this hunk of plastic contain atoms. There's a force at work.

Uh, okay. If magnets worked, and the iron in our blood was affected by it, then our blood cells would explode when around magnets by the iron blasting its way out of the cell and towards the magnetic energy.

Thank goodness magnetic energy has no effect on us.

Bwahahaha! Iron in the blood! You lot are jokers.

I was thinking more along the lines of our electromagnetic energy field that exists in and around us. A possibility perhaps?

Define this energy field, and show some links to the source of your info.

I told you once I invented this back in 1374. I know how it works, and it has nothing to do w/ energy fields.

I am 653 years old. I'll let Chiu have it for now, I already made my fortune as one of the original investors in the Dutch East India Co.

okay okay... just so you don't have to tell me a third time, tell me how it works Crazycat, I mean, Wildcat.

This extremely civilised cat will point you to this article here. OK, it's about horses, but the basic physiology is the same. People are just even easier to fool when it's quack horse treatments on the market. You'd be amazed.

Rolfe.

radcw, are you for real? We often get people here who try to push buttons and belief in some magic ring is not going to go over well on this board. We have several posters who work in science related fields most of whom have direct knowledge as to why magnet claims are bogus. You are welcome to make your own magnetic ring and tell us what it does, but don't expect many here to accept your word if you think it really does work.

Get a load of this mumbo-jumbo in his patent...

A method of utilizing a magnetic ring adapted to be worn on all the fingers including the thumb of each hand to supplement strength and speed of existing magnetic flux current cycled around a human body to increase health of the human body by virtue of blood circulation being directly proportional to magnetic flux and the magnetic flux being a natural turbine to circulate blood and which consists of no moving parts but yet still propels the blood, wherein the magnetic ring has a ring with a size adapted to comfortably and snugly fit on all the fingers including the thumb of each hand and a pair of permanent magnets that extend outwardly along opposed positions on said ring and have North and South poles, said method comprising the steps of:

a) placing a magnetic ring on all the fingers including the thumb of each hand;

b) orientating said South pole of one magnet of said pair of permanent magnets of one said magnetic ring on the top of all the fingers including the thumb of the right hand and said North pole of another magnet of said pair of permanent magnets of said one magnetic ring on the bottom of all the fingers including the thumb of the right hand;

c) contacting generally said South pole of said one magnet of said pair of permanent magnets of said one magnetic ring on the top of all the fingers including the thumb of the right hand and said North pole of said another magnet of said pair of permanent magnets of said one magnetic ring on the bottom of all the fingers including the thumb of the right hand;

d) orientating said North pole of one magnet of said pair of permanent magnets of another said magnetic ring on the top of all the fingers including the thumb of the left hand and said South pole of another magnet of said pair of permanent magnets of said another magnetic ring on the bottom of all the fingers including the thumb of the left hand; and

e) contacting generally said North pole of said one magnet of said pair of permanent magnets of said another magnetic ring on the top of all the fingers including the thumb of the left hand and said South pole of said another magnet of said pair of permanent magnets of said another magnetic ring on the bottom of all the fingers including the thumb of the left hand which inherently causes magnetic flux current to flow through the human body from said one magnetic ring on the right hand to said another magnetic ring on the left hand which supplements the strength and the speed of the existing magnetic flux current cycled around the human body to increase the health of the human body by virtue of the blood circulation being directly proportional to the magnetic flux and the magnetic flux being a natural turbine to circulate the blood and which consists of no moving parts but yet still propels the blood.

LOL! Thanks for posting that. It's all about freakin idiotic "orientation". It's all so very complex-not.

causes magnetic flux current to flow through the human body from said one magnetic ring on the right hand to said another magnetic ring on the left hand which supplements the strength and the speed of the existing magnetic flux current cycled around the human body to increase the health of the human body by virtue of the blood circulation being directly proportional to the magnetic flux and the magnetic flux being a natural turbine to circulate the blood and which consists of no moving parts but yet still propels the blood.

Sounds deadly to me. Good thing that never happens. Blood circulation interruption by the 'turbine' would really not be good for you. The blood flows in directions it does now for a reason, and it would be deadly if controlled by an outside source and redirected.

Don't knock it, it worked for Magneto in the second X-Men movie.

There's that line between fantasy and reality again.

Yes, Magneto and homeopathy are all on the same side :D
