Everything he said is true. Except the bit about Paul McCartney. That seems a little far-fetched.
You're right. It probably was only one raccoon.

Simple math: Bigfoot sightings/improved personal cameras = death of a myth.
Right. Before the age of iPhones and 8000 megapixel high-speed cameras, there was some wiggle-room for UFOs, ghosts, bigfeet, and so on. Now, there is none of that. If these things existed, we would have caught them on camera by now.

I thought it was Francis Ford Coppola, who bought modified suits from Kubrik's costume supplier.I think it's pretty well accepted that the Patterson-Gimlin Film (PGF) was an inside job (IJ) filmed in a soundstage on the moon by notorious jew director (NJD) Stanley Kubrick* using one of the ape costumes from 2001: A Space Odyssey**.
Bah, I tell you McCartney was replaced by a four-armed shapeshifting alien from another dimension on the sixth of November 1966 as part of their plan to use pop music to start WW3 in 1970.Everything he said is true. Except the bit about Paul McCartney. That seems a little far-fetched.

Kubrik was too busy preparing to stage the moon landing.
There are a lot of differences between Bigfoot beliefs and conspiracy theorisms, though.

Scratch that one. Remember Krantz, Meldrum's mentor. And the Smithsonian, the Smithsonian . . . covering up archeological evidence of Egyptian culture and language in the Grand Canyon.
How do I get one of those helicopters?!!!
How do I get one of those pensions??
Another famous Bigfoot conspiracy is that dozens of Bigfoots were killed in the Mt St. Helens eruption, and several witnesses saw a government triage unit in place to deal with the BF casualties.
I've spent most of my time here posting on the 9/11 forum, but I'd like to know from the Bigfoots, is this a conspiracy theory in the same way as 9/11 or Holocaust denial?
Back when I was approaching Skepticism from an analytical perspective, I found it easier to categorize 'claims' rather than attempting to categorize 'things'. I toyed with a claim hierarchy/template and found that ultimately there were really only about 20 claims that Skepticism addresses.
Unfortunately, the BCSkeptics website was not renewed by the new directors after my departure, so I have to find another way to convey this to the thread.
What I mean is that I would ask "what's the claim here?" as a starting point.
Bigfoot is a good example of why that's important:
- there are very traditional cryptozoology claimants who are relying strictly on "they're rare and skittish undocumented species" which is a wholly naturalistic claim.
- there are other claimants that say bigfoot is evasive because he can dimension shift ("psychic bigfoot") - this is naturalistic category pseudoscience or supernatural category paranormal, depending on the explanation
- there are those who further claim that there has been suppression of evidence for some reason - these claims would be the same category of any other conspiracy, which is under the 3rd major category of claims about people
I found a backup copy. Let's see if it can paste HTML into the forum:

Wait.
Are you saying the Towers were demolitioned by Bigfoot to cover up the fact that six million Jews faked the lunar landings?
Suddenly, it is all starting to make sense...
