Wherever you have a mixture of nationalities and different religious groups, you will always have confrontation. In Iraq you had a strong leader who was able to crush any uprising and restore tranquility to a certain extent. Same in Yugoslavia under Tito.
When Tito died, Yugoslavia collapsed. At the moment there is a power vacuum in Iraq. Until another Saddam arises, there will never be peace.

Probably true. But in your location these people are minorities. Not so in Iraq.
