What, evidence that "I" exist? No, there is only evidence that "you" exist. You still have not shown us any evidence.

No, the answer lies in your ability to ask questions.

What I'm telling you, is that I can't prove anything to you, that you can't prove to yourself. It has little or nothing to do with me.I don't see any such evidence. I believe I exist, yes, but I cannot be 100% certain.
Why does anybody argue about anything? Because they're trying to prove something to themselves perhaps? Then why are you arguing on a public message board?
What if the universe is the backdrop? Can god exists without a backdrop? Can you explain to me how a god could have always existed and yet the universe had a begining? What was god doing before he created the universe? How long was he doing it before he created it?Is anyone here suggesting that the Universe can exist without a backdrop? If so, then can you please tell us how something can come from nothing?
Typical non-commital dodge. Got no cajones, eh Iaachus? No, the answer lies in your ability to ask questions.
Why does anybody argue about anything?
No, the "convincing" lies within you. So, why do you bother to "argue" with me? Or, could it be that you're really arguing with yourself? We all have to validate our own reasons for being here you see.To convince others of your point of view. However, you have just said you cannot provide any evidence to anyone else, so why are you even bothering?
So, who planted the Universal seed then? And what nourished it and caused it to flourish? What if the universe is the backdrop? Can god exists without a backdrop? The FSM.So, who planted the Universal seed then?
Meatballs. And what nourished it and caused it to flourish?

Does the backdrop exist without a backdrop? If so then why can't the Universe exist without a backdrop? If not then it must be backdrops all the way down.Is anyone here suggesting that the Universe can exist without a backdrop?
Again you are assuming a unversal verity on the basis of its plausibility to you. But there is no reason to assume that existence will be predictable and intuitive no matter how deep you go into it. Something may be able to come from nothing, I don't really know one way or the other, and neither do you.If so, then can you please tell us how something can come from nothing?
If I am correct, a backdrop has always existed ... prior to the Big Bang that is.Does the backdrop exist without a backdrop? If so then why can't the Universe exist without a backdrop? If not then it must be backdrops all the way down.
Well, if you're not sure whether something can come from nothing or not, I would suggest you go ask Merc.Again you are assuming a unversal verity on the basis of its plausibility to you. But there is no reason to assume that existence will be predictable and intuitive no matter how deep you go into it. Something may be able to come from nothing, I don't really know one way or the other, and neither do you.
Except if that one thing has always existed, it would have contain the potential for all things, thus making it irreducibly complex. Therefore suggesting it was all "pre-planned." Surely this would be a sign of intelligence and all-knowing would it not?But there are two cases (leaving out backdrops all the way down). The fact that anything exists means that either at least one thing came from nothing, or at least one thing has a steady state existence. Neither case implies nor rules out a creator.
What, coming from someone who is uncertain what happened before the Big Bang? Whatever you say.We argue because you use false logic and no evidence. We are pointing out why your 'philosophy' is wrong.
No such luck!As to why I am here? Chance.
Nobody knows what happened before the Big Bang. This is because there is no way of knowing what happened before the Big Bang. Anything "before" the Big Bang is not within our universe. What, coming from someone who is uncertain what happened before the Big Bang? Whatever you say.
