So, let's see here. Claims that Groundstrength has made:

1) People are advocating government intervention.
Evidence: 0.
Number of times he promised to provide evidence: 1.
Number of evidence provided after this claim: 0.
Any explanations why he will not provide that evidence? Oh, yes, I mentioned a certain phallus in satire. But this was a fallacy and in no way was a legitimate reason. So 0.
Number of people that are buying it: 0.

2) That people only take offense if an insult actually applies to them. Evidence: 1.
Evidence is, he doesn't take offense if it doesn't apply to him, and he is obviously the representative of all of humanity. This is a fallacy (see "Hasty Generalization Fallacy"), so 0.
Number of people that are buying it or consider this logical: 0

I can update the list as time goes on.

So, scoreboard states:

It also appears that GroundStrength's specific purpose in this thread was to "taunt" me and to try to make me angry (which he has actually failed to do). I believe that this makes him a troll.

Referring to a ladies college basketball team as whores is offensive to them, their University, and to their families. I hope you all realize there were some fair skinned gals on the team. I note that one of them was speaking last night on the news (on the ESPN News, one could not get away from that damned story) regarding how Mr Imus did not even know any of them personally.

Misogyny is just the tip of the iceberg, but it's the insult that the whole team could get equally pissed about.

I can imagine the dilemma this could cause an American racist who would likely lump to the two groups together. Most wouldn't realize that they are as different as British are to Americans and that THEY also have lines they don't cross. :)

I'm third-generation Spanish from one side, and Mexican + Native American from the other. So I've automatically got a full repetoire of racial insults I can use on different family members that I wouldn't think of using on people I don't know. ;)

I agree and I feel sorry for all of them. The words used against them will affect them all throughout their lifetime (I still carry some anger over being kicked [literally] out of a local store by a guy that looked a lot like Imus who called me a FU***** PAPOOSE), but the nappy-headed comment was directed at the African-American women.

I was kicked out because the cowboy owner thought another kid in there was stealing so he kicked out ALL of us (meaning all of us long-haired, dark-skinned kids). I was six at the time and was the last one out of the store. I wasn't moving quickly enough for him so he literally booted me out with his S-hitkicker.

Since then, I can't stand dime-store cowboys.
