Illinois Nazi Wins GOP Nomination...

Don’t worry, one of our resident GOPers will be along shortly to GOPsplain how this is just a state seat and so the racism doesn’t count. Just like the last 100 times it happened.

Or that somehow the Democrats maneuvered the GOP into nominating the guy...

See republicans are like Nazis just ask Steve King.

Specifically in Austria they are some hard line nazis, but in the US they would just be basic republicans.

To be fair, his claim is that Nazis are most like Republicans, not that Republicans are like Nazis. Not quite the same.

His remarks are still startling, to say the least. What decent Republican would say that a group founded by a former Nazi SS agent (if I recall correctly) is reall y just more or less a hard right Republican (with the implication that they should not be harshly rebuked)? Stunning, remarkable, terrible comments.

Accurate comments tho.

It isn't like his white supremacy has caused him any major issues as a republican so he knows where the fellow travelers belong.

It's crazy how ingrained the racism is.

The unnamed constituent persisted with questions, asking Olson why he had called his Democratic challenger in the 22nd Congressional District, Sri Preston Kulkarni, an “Indo-American carpetbagger.”

In a video of a previous campaign stop obtained by CNN, Olson described Kulkarni, who is of Indian heritage, as a “liberal, liberal, liberal Indo-American who’s a carpetbagger” and questioned whether donations raised for him through the online fundraising site ActBlue were “coming from overseas.”

“Why would you mention his race?” the woman demanded.

“I didn’t mention his race. Carpetbagger’s not a race,” Olson responded. During an extended back and forth, Olson never directly addressed why he mentioned Kulkarni’s ethnicity.

And Steve King, the GOP Iowa nutjob, had his photos taken with Neo Nazis in Austria on a trip this weekend.
