Expect them to learn on route. Arbitrarily select components to be integrated. Insist it's the developer's job to make them work together. Perform absolutely no research. Commit to a strategy blindly with the assumption it will be successful. Do not verify any work. Trust that everyone is infallible. Conduct development activities on live systems. Laboratory environments are a pain and add no value. Ignore defects. Nobody will notice anyway. Employ management techniques that are fun. Nobody should have to actually work. Ignore lessons from other industries. Software is different.
