IE vs Firefox

Yeah, we're still stuck with the previous version at work.

I've tried version 7 at home, and while it's an improvement (the tabbed interface in particular), I still feel that Firefox is better by a country mile.

I like both of them. Really, I don't see much of a difference to get huffy about. They each have strengths and weaknesses, but in the end I find them to pretty much be the same thing. Firefox is clearly superior to IE 6, with tabbed browsing and all, but IE 7 pretty much closed that gap. I have to say I like the layout of Firefox's toolbar a bit more.

I used Opera a bit too, but didn't like it much. It was all right, I guess, but never caught on for me.

I love my Firefox. I haven't tried IE7 yet - until it gives me the same crash recovery, mouse gestures, permanent tabs, and a good hanful of other features that I can easily extend FF with I see no reason to try, either.

It's like Firefox, only not Firefox.

Personally, I don't use any of that fancy hippie crap, so I'm happy with either, now that IE supports tabbed browsing. :)

You don't know what you're missing. :)

Actually, I just downloaded the mouse gestures addon, and I take back the hippie crap comment. Rocker commands are awesome!

I tried permanent tabs too, but I don't much care for them.
