I am now getting Ron Paul SPAM.

Just what we need, another Ron Paul thread...

Heck, I didn't do it, did I?

I like to think that I'm reasonably well informed in US politics. Paul has been nowhere on my radar screen, except as a name of one of the losers who also populate the fringes of presidential elections. Kucinich, Paul... whoever. Back (in my lifetime) to Harold Stassen.

Now I'm seeing all this internet Ron Paul splash, including from Europeans who won't have a vote or any influence, and I find it baffling.

Here In Sacramento a few Paulistas got themselves in trouble by hanging banners from buildings without getting the permission of the owners.
Ron Paul seems totally oblivious to the idea that he has got to bring some organization to his campaign and weed out the wackjobs in order to have real chance .
Of course I am wondering just how serious Paul is about his campaign. I think he sees it primarily as a platform for pushing his ideas, and he knows he has no chance of winning.
Fact is,outside the Internet and a small group of fervent supporters, Paul is just a foot note in politics.
And please note that Paul has yet to renounce the support of several white surpremists groups that have endorsed him. Even Ross Perot knew enough to publically say he rejected and did not want the support of racist organizations. But not Ron.
