Did anyone see this last night? I was rolling! He always does well on Colbert, too. I wouldn't vote for him if he was the only guy running but he doesn't seem to mind a little self deprecating humor.

I can't argue that Huckabee isn't the most personally likable candidate this time around, but that doesn't make him any less a bad candidate.

That distinction is reserved for Hillary. Not only is she not amiable, but is a clueless campaigner as well.

For the last couple of decades, SNL attempts at parady resemble 4H Club skits. Huckabee's supposed self-mocking routines were pathetic. This guy is just a shameless huckster out for personal gain using the presidential race as a "Hee Haw" audition. Maybe he will realize that being a country fried chewed piece of gum stuck to the bottom of a shoe looses its appeal rather rapidly.

But SNL did manage to stumble on an actual amusing truth. The Hillary/Obama debate sketch was dead bang on target. The only reason why SNL used CNN on air folks instead of MSNBC regulars is because that cable network is just too close for comfort for the NBC brass.
