This is a sincere question:
What is the best visual evidence (or other) that Flights 11 and 175 really were the actual American and United airliners?
What are you guys using as your definitive proof (other than hearsay)?
Max

1. The
Airphone calls and cell calls from passengers and cabin crewmembers.
2. The
radar data for the flights, especially UA 175, whose transponder was never turned off.
3. The passengers DNA found at the crash sites.
4. Video records depicting a United 767-200 striking the South Tower(see 5).
5. No missing 757/767s anywhere in the world.
6. No
ACARS OOOI reports indicating that any of the flights landed anywhere. You see, when the main landing gear struts compress, a report is automatically sent to operations over the datalink system reporting the UTC time of touchdown.
7. No ACARS reports sent from any of the 9/11 aircraft, as operations centers were trying desperately to query the aircraft.

At 8:23 a.m., a flight dispatcher at the American Airlines operations center in Fort Worth, Texas sends an ACARS text message to Flight 11. ACARS, meaning Aircraft Communications and Reporting System, is an e-mail system enabling company personnel on the ground to rapidly communicate with those in the cockpit of an in-flight aircraft. The message says, “Good morning… ATC [air traffic control] looking for you on [radio frequency] 135.32.” No response is received from Flight 11. Two minutes later, an American Airlines air traffic control specialist at the operations center sends another ACARS message to Flight 11. This says, “Plz contact Boston Center ASAP… They have lost radio contact and your transponder signal.” Again, no response is received from the plane. Subsequent ACARS messages also receive no reply. American Airlines headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas, learns that Flight 77 is not responding to radio calls, is not emitting a transponder signal, and flight control has lost its location since 8:56 a.m. [9/11 Commission, 1/27/2004] According to the Wall Street Journal, a call from the FAA roughly says that Flight 77 has “turned off its transponder and turned around. Controllers [have] lost radio communications with the plane. Without hearing from anyone on the plane, American [doesn’t] know its location.” American Airlines executive Gerard Arpey gives an order to stop all American flight take-offs in the Northeast. By 8:59 a.m., American Airlines begins attempts to contact the flight using ACARS (a digital communications system used primarily for aircraft-to-airline messages). Within minutes, some time between 9:00 a.m. and 9:10 a.m., American gets word that United also has lost contact with a missing airliner (presumably Flight 175). When reports of the second WTC crash come through after 9:03 a.m., one manager will mistakenly shout, “How did 77 get to New York and we didn’t know it?” [Wall Street Journal, 10/15/2001; 9/11 Commission, 7/24/2004, pp. 454; 9/11 Commission, 8/26/2004, pp. 31

7. No ATC records of voice communication with any of the 4 flights after they disappeared from radar.
8. No evidence of any 757 or 767 having ever been fitted with remote control.
Also, there is zero evidence for a "plane swap" and the idea of a swap is completey asinine to people who work in commercial aviation/ATC. Unless the 8 pilots died wilfully for "Operation 9/11", how did the airplanes get "swapped" anyhow? Was ATC, AA and UA in on it too?
Max, other than your desperately wanting to believe that the 4 flights were spirited away to some remote base, honestly, what evidence is there?

Once again Max, you show that you have not read Apathoids essay. Obviously you haven't spent much time observing what goes on around the tarmac. I have observed what goes on the airport tarmacs in Phoenix, Dallas, Chicago, Denver, Las Vegas, and St. Louis.
Respective to each airline company, I've watched what they do. Each plane is not unattended for very long, and to switch planes with one thats modified would be quite a remarkable feat. Even if that was successful, here's a snippet from the paper you haven't read yet:
It hadn't occured to me that the planes might have been swapped overnight before the attacks. Is that Maxs' theory? I had always thought that the plane-swaps "happened" in-flight, more or less, after the planes were hijacked.
