An important test for a soap is: Can you eat a quart of it with no effect?

So thats how this stuff wakes you up in the morning.

Although, eating a quart might have some effect.

Everyone who has watched A Christmas Story knows that if you even put soap in your mouth for extended periods of time you get soap poisoning and go blind.

That part was from a different (credible) source. Didn't preserve the link though, sorry; IIRC was NIH. Antifreeze is sweet and tasty for animals, and highly poisonous when ingested.

It's also sweet to humans, which is why, in the Poor Man's James Bond, it was recommended as a way of poisoning people by spiking a punch or ade type drink.
