Considering that you may be ignorant of the fact that you're joking about sacrificing my family...I'm going to ignore this remark.
My sisters, especially the older one, absolutely hate my guts. Certain members of my family have a done a great job of painting me as an ignorant moron and a godless blasphemer. For example; the other day the older one informed me of her protest at a school assembly in which the students elected the President-Elect and she and her friends stood up and started chanting "No more anti-Christ wins". When she told me about this, rather proud of herself, I informed her of a verse in the bible which seemed to state that Obama isn't the anti-Christ because he is married with two little girls. She responded by essentially calling me a liar and telling me I can't tell her about the bible because I "believe in evolution and the big bang and I don't know what its like to believe in God". And when I attempted to protest such sentiments she screamed "I believe in the bible not you" and then informed me that she wouldn't care if I died.
Essentially nothing I say will really make a difference. I have some hopes for the younger one who reminds me so much of myself. Hence the reason why I'm still sticking around, because I have a feeling in middle school she's going to start going through some very tough times about her religion.
I would suggest that you look hard at subjects and not just believe. It seems this forum is largely religionists vs atheists with their individual creeds and fighting points. Frankly, the arguments on here are largely made by people on both sides claiming to be authorities who don't even understand the very basics of what they are talking about. I have been tested with an IQ of 147 (Minimal compared to all the wiseacres on here). So what? It's just a damn test score and it proves that I can do well on a standardized test. I may not be able to wipe my ass, but I can outscore 99% of the people on a test. Man, do I feel great (not really). The Big Bang gets promoted as if it's fact, when the fact is that there are many reputable AUTHORITIES that dispute it:

Someone will reply and say that you can find support from reputable sources for anything and that is largely true. The bottom line is that no one has all truth and one needs to fully understand the issues/arguments before making a decision with the realization that a Galileo with the lone dissenting vote may be right. So, if you understand the Big Bang (which will take some work - remember the term "red shift") and still believe it, fine, but for you to just believe it is not different that your family just believing.
