Yes, those stoopid Christians! They think they're better than others! They aren't, because they think they're better than others.

We good and true atheists don't think we're better than others. So we're much better than Christians.

ETA for those who fail to draw obvious conclusions: Everyone who believes X thinks that they are better than those who don't believe X, because those who don't fail to believe something (namely X) which is true.

From what I understand, it is considered admirable to admit you're a sinner. Like, admitting youre an alcoholic is better than denying it as you drink. So because they believe everyone is a sinner, they are ...I don't know how to say it other than "holier than thou" literally because they have admitted it. They are ennobled by their self basement, so to speak.

I honestly think its silly. What exactly did Adam and eve do that caused us to inherit sin? God lied*. Which is one of his own commandments! They didn't lie. I feel like, according to that story, everyone was cursed because god got caught out lying.

Genesis 3:3 but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.'" emphasis added. They didn't die. God lied.

It's about as useful a category description as atheist, that is to say, not very useful at all. I think I'd know more about someone if you told me they were a plumber than a Christian.

My wife goes to Sunday school. I asked her when she was going to graduate. Not having a clever retort in mind, she didn't think it was funny at all.
