House passes Canabis decriminalization

Make pot legal but make all stoner culture including but not limited to 420 jokes, sitar music, spending all your not stoned time talking about being stoned, or making elaborate bongs punishable by death. Slow death. While your family is forced to watch.

This man has ideas. Good ideas. Ideas we should listen to.

Seconded.

I'm of mixed minds on this.

On the one hand, I like pot. I greatly prefer stoned people to drunk people, for instance. It's a pleasant feeling, with virtually no "hang-over". It also doesn't give me a headache, which is nice. I think that in moderation it's far less harmful than alcohol is.

On the other hand... I'm not so keen on the refined variations. I have reservations about shatter and concentrates. It kind of falls into the same pattern as coca leaves and opium seeds. In their natural, unrefined forms, they really weren't a big risk. Then we crafty humans start refining them to make them stronger, and along comes laudanum and cocaine. Okay... those now have some noticeable problems. Still, most people don't end up dead, and a good number of people end up being functional addicts. Bad... but not nearly as bad as when we refine them even further to get heroin and crack. Now we've got ourselves a big problem.

On the gripping hand, the fact that several people seem to think that using pot is a "lifestyle" is something I find problematic. And not just because of their horrible fashion sense and constant skunkiness.

But how can that possibly be? Bill Barr has decreed there is "generally no systemic racism in the US among our police departments". The report must be wrong

I would like to know if the weed charges were stand alone or were there other criminal charges filed against the individual arrested.
