horrifying attack on Jussie Smollett

I have been following this thread since the start, and more recently some of the news coverage since the whole thing went feral. One thing that still confuses me is about the brothers as there seems to be no clear narrative of the events.


Were they arrested or just picked up as "persons of interest"?

Were they picked up from the airport on the way to, or on the way home from Nigeria? Or were they even picked up at the airport.



Were they actually in Nigeria when the alleged attack happened?


Did or did not Smollett say these are definitely the guys when he saw the blurrycam shots?


How in the hell did the police recognise them from what appears to be a couple of blurry shots from street cameras (that is all that I have seen)?


Answers to these, particularly my final question, will not move this whole train wreck narrative forward, but will fit their role in this play better in my mind at least. My thanks in advance if anybody can help on the above.

Both. Picked up and later arrested while still in custody.

No. They participated in the fake assault on Jussie.

The same way they followed Jussie back to his apartment, they tracked the brothers too and were able to establish an electronic trail on them when they were picked up by uber.

Nitpick since you've made the mistake twice. It's "cue". As in "cue card". The word that sounds similar is spelled queue (meaning to line up). Then there's quay but that's pronounced kway. And what you're writing is probably pronounced "kay", if Spanish or "kuh" if the French participle.

That's probably the grand jury activity that we recently heard about.
 
It's no wonder that he didn't want a bodyguard after receiving the fake letter. He knows he doesn't need one and also it would make the fake attack more complicated.

Ironically, a genuine white supremacist attack may await him in Federal prison. Those are sometimes fatal.

Calling you on this. It encompassed what you would like that I had said. It's simply a reiteration of my statement from yesterday. I'm waiting to see charges brought, a police report, or any of the parties to this revue stepping up to the plate and explaining what transpired. I've been saying this all along.

And if it satisfies you need to Win the Internet, after the final outcome is known, I'll come back and pretend I've been pulling for Jessie all along. But I haven't been, just as I was one of the first voices in the MAGA Kids thread to call out the mis-reporting and misapplication of information.

I haven't converted. I'm still a repulsive Lefty. But I have always made an effort to not merely cheer for the side that agrees with my politics. Can you (or any of your posse) claim the same thing?

I know I'm late to the party but your error is assuming that all people asses risk/benefit the same way you do.
