That should be plenty to discern Caucasian skin.

He also said he gave a body description of the first attacker to the cops and saw the eyes and bridge of the nose of that initial attacker but couldn't tell what color that person's eyes were.

Yes, they were apparently walking down the street going away from the scene before the time of the attack. There's nothing in those clips that would connect them with the attack.

I have already remarked on the remarkable coincidence that the only three people in that area, walking in the single digit temps, in the dead of night, all worked on Empire.
 
I don't believe they were ID'd by cameras, though. The image quality at night seems pretty poor, and if they had a good enough image to ID them, they did not bother to publicize it to see if the public recognized them.

I suspect they were mainly ID'd through other means.

The police report doesn't mention race. Smollett told police the height and weight of the primary attacker but said that no facial features were visible. He could not remember any distinguishing feature - so that means no white nose sticking out.

He also said that they were dressed in black. But the dudes on camera are not dressed in black.

Apparently on GMA he said a bit more...
 
CWB no longer says that the guys were arrested at the airport. They haven't been charged. CWB has gotten some incorrect leaks so that has to be considered and that much is unconfirmed.

CWB now reports that the attorney for the two guys expects them to be charged by tomorrow afternoon. These guys are brothers who live together.

The attack or a conspiracy?

Maybe the firearms were not legal?

Seriously? We have gone from a couple of guys yelling MAGA Country to two black friends of Jussie ACTUALLY being interviewed at CPD headquarters.

It is like comparing a pile of **** smeared on the sidewalk to a delicious cake still baking in the oven.

#CPD says POI in #JussieSmollett case are still in police custody. Questioning will resume tomorrow, Friday. They have not been charged..yet.
You can be detained for up to 48 hours for investigation as long as officers have probable cause that a crime may have been committed.
