We are camped outside #ChicagoPD area central where police are questioning the persons of interest in the #JussieSmollett case. We should have an update on @fox32news at 9.

How would you know exactly where there are no surveillance cameras so you can pull your stunt?

It's possible Condo Guy (Good name for a TV show) inadvertently speed up the planned timeline by calling the police sooner than they'd planned on contacting authorities. Remember, the two "assailants" departed the country some time after the "attack". Just speculating because there's nothing good on TV.
 
Special Ed the Superintendent called a TV Station to walk back the story that he got fired from a half ass soap opera?

One of his former cops got the **** kicked out of him in prison, and the anniversary of one of his top chiefs assassination yesterday and Special Ed called WLS to run interference for a **** ball rapper.

The cameras would have been no concern at all if the plan was to not get police involved at all. The Nigerians don't even have to worry about stamps and cut up magazines in their apartment because nobody is going to notify police about the beating and therefore nobody is going to look at any surveillance footage or Lyft rides or anything like that. The hoax was strictly for Condo Guy.
 
My working hypothesis at this point is that the Superintendant and higher-ups didn't want police investigaters to go blabbing to reporters prematurely about an ongoing investigation, so that's why they are pushing back against these reports. We'll just have to be a little more patient, but it looks like the whole thing is unraveling.

Well, the first time I ever heard the word MAGA was when I used to peruse the forums where people would try and bait the Nigerian scammers and send them on wild goose chases. In Nigeria, apparently, “maga” loosely translates to “sucker.” Thus, victims of the Nigerian scams were berated as magas.

So yeah! It could very well be that a Nigerian yelled this out ... but I’m not sure who the maga is in this case...

More strangeness...

The men, who are both of Nigerian descent, have appeared as extras on the show and their attorney, Gloria Schmidt, says they do both know Smollett.

“They do know Jussie,” she said. “They have worked with him on Empire. My preliminary investigations show that on set it’s very tight. They’re all very cordial with each other, so they’re baffled why they are people of interest.”

The relative who was home Wednesday night says she heard a loud banging at the door, and that door came crashing down. She says a flood officers were there saying they had a search warrant.

She says she was patted down by an officer, and police asked her if she knows Smollett. The woman, who is in her 20s, says she was “so scared” and thought she was going to die.

The woman says she was confused, but she did know Smollett was from the show. She says she feels the police picked the two brothers up for questioning because there is a loose connection to Smollett, and the men left for Nigeria the same day of the attack.

The men’s attorney says they were visiting family in Nigeria and were picked up at O’Hare Wednesday night.
