hominids

Does this mean only humans with 18 inch feet can fake 18 inch tracks? :D

No, but whoever is doing it is of monstrous proportions

Maaaaate . . .

Have you seen Jurassic Park? Do you remember seeing the T. Rex tracks? Unless they were real, Universal Studios must have a special effects dude that weighs over four tons.

Or your argument may be faulty.

Movies can edit things, unlike in real life. To fake a track, A very very large man would have to strap on feet in wet soil.

Why would it have to be a very very large man? In order to create a long gate one can jump from spot to spot. This jumping would also cause you to sink further into the soil giving the impression (pun intended) of very very large creature.

All of that aside the main evidence from prints is the casts. One does not need to supply a trail of bigfoot feet only a plaster cast and a photo with some sort of size comparison. The print its self becomes largely irrelevant.

How would you fake a bigfoot track?

And where is the evidence that any track was made by anything heavier than a human being?

Squatch tracks have been found to have a depth unlike a human, and more like a grizzly. So its reasonable whatever left the tracks was a giant man or something else?

Makaya, you said "what about tracks that arent bear, and too deep for humans, unless they are 500 plus lbs humans?"

I asked for evidence of that. Post #402 wasn't it. Where are these tracks that can only be made by 500+ lbs humans or Bigfoot?

Yes. Do you realize that carrying 30 pounds on each foot walking is hard? Try doing it up and down hills, through dense brush and vegetation
Do you realize that he did it. For no other reason than to have a bit of fun and a chuckle at people looking for a giant penguin. But no, I guess its silly to think anyone might do the same to a bigfoot enthusiast.

Nope, not at all. Maybe on a beach, but not in rugged areas where a 200 pound person wouldnt leave a dent on the ground

Makaya, you said that you are 18 years old. You talked about presently working in a lab with microscopes. Are you still in high school, or taking college classes now? Are you focusing on a science-based education and career?

You don't have to answer those questions as they are personal.

Yes, that is correct. I dont work in labs. My microscope has been upgraded many times.

My focus is to be a wildlife biologist or ecologist

There is no evidence that bigfoot, assuming it exists, is any heavier than a human.

Assuming it exists its proported mass and proportions ,which in nearly all cases exceeds that of humans does not somehow give weight to go along with those proportions? If its big its heavy.

Then why oh why would you allow yourself to think that the entire remains of a creature are needed to know its mode of locomotion or that without DNA one can not determine the taxonomic relationship of an animal? How does this happen? Does the concept of fossils and and the most fundamental basics of zoology and paleontology elude you?

When you have evidence, and not anecdotes, about size and weight, I'll be glad to listen. Until then, assuming allows us to say anything we wish.
