Holocaust denial poll - all forum participants invited

What do you think of Holocaust denial?

  • Total voters
    256
We can start a new poll when the neocons and Israel are exposed as the perpetrators of 9/11.

Do you really believe polls like these will tip in your favor as long as the evil Jews are running the world?

It's interesting that the percentage of deniers goes up from under 1% amongst those who do not contribute to around 12% of people who contribute to the forum. Obviously the deniers are a mionority though (in September 2012).

I am an active Holocaust denial thread participant, and I think 'Holocaust revisionism' is right

So many lies have been told by the Holocaust huggers that even this poll is a twisted distortion.

Do you think the OP didn't realize the difference between the terms Holocaust revisionism and Holocaust denial?

The OP deliberately used "Holocaust denial is wrong" when revisionists have made it clear over and over and over they don't deny oppression of Europe's Jewish people, "the Holocaust," took place.

And of course, the re-definition of "oppression" to include mass murder being a fundamental part of "revisionism" (itself having been re-defined by deniers to make their denial seem more scholarly) plays no part, eh, CM?

How about you address the Jäger Report in the appropriate thread and tell us all how it represents evidence of 'mere' oppression?

That's funny. Weren't you saying earlier that the poll was biased because it wasn't anonymous? Didn't you try and start a new one with who voted obscured? Didn't you get the same results and then try to rationalize it?

And what do the results of the anonymous version of this poll tell you?

Same. Political correctness means you don't know any better than to follow blindly what you're told.

So that poll was entirely pointless and you are just going to handwave away results you don't like. Got it. Just wanted to hear you say it.

Yes you did.

Those are all rhetorical. Revisionists do, in fact, often explicitly deny the Holocaust. Even for the ones who only partially deny the historical narrative, none I've seen are willing to answer the question of why the Nazis "only" murdering a few million is really any better than the "official story". And nice try trying to conflate "oppression" and "mass murder". If TSR hadn't pointed it out, I would've missed it.

And this is why I spend the time I do opposing denial, and other similar distortions of history.

These people, buffoons tho many of them may be, not only live by Santayana but devoutly wish for it.

How many deniers will unequivocally condemn even that "oppression" they pretend comprises the whole of the Holocaust? Certainly not CM.

Certainly none of the liars CM cites.

They try to justify it, knowing full well that they have to dress it up in pseudo-scholarly language to disguise the fact that their deepest desire is that the job be 'properly' finished the next time. That they fail so spectacularly at convincing those who do not share their hate is a never-ending thorn in their side, and only confirms that da Jooos must be out to get them.

That their hate is repugnant in and of its own is not possible.

And so they go on, redefining terms, whining about inconsequential details, ignoring historical fact and indeed human nature itself so that they can feel better about what I am convinced, deep down, they know is a blight on their souls.

And not as a criticism of you, '63, but that deniers can appear to be reasonable in their bloodlust is exactly what makes them, and others like them, so dangerous.

Please note that CM's arguments completely fail at this appearance, as they do in the vaccine and 9/11 threads (I wish I could encourage him to continue in his foolishness for the entertainment value without running the risk of twisting things to be an encouragement of his crap).

And further note that I, or someone like me, will *always* be there to point that out.

The neocon scum who control the MSM and much of America agree with you on those three outlooks. Any morally honest person understands which way the hate wind is blowing.

Clay, the revisionists/deniers fail because what they present is devoid of facts to back themselves up. They start with their conclusion and then proceed to cherry pick or just make stuff up to fit the conclusion.

You've done that in your posts in other threads and you do it here. You have the virtue of consistency, but your refusal to consider things that contradict your position renders that more of a vice than a virtue.

EtienneSC is a newb who has taken the plunge and come over from the codoh forum as per a fellow poster's suggestion.

Now whilst he's not an active HD thread participant at JREF he's made something like 46 posts on Holocaust denial at codoh.

Which is why your 'arguments' and those of all the other deniers are condemned to the ridicule and scorn they so richly deserve.

History does not lie. Deniers do. Which is why you will continue to run from an actual discussion of that history, preferring instead to blame your failure on "neocons" who "control MSM" and the "political correctness" which polluted your own poll (one over whose terms you had complete control) -- yet another set of whines for which you have no factual basis.

Please feel free to elaborate on which "neocon scum" you think control MSNBC, Slate, Huffington, etc...?

I've notice that CTs never blame themselves for their failure to convince people. It's always someone else's fault. That, or they convince themselves they're standard-carriers for a quiet revolution, regardless of contrary evidence.

Or both.

Any morally honest person understands which way the hate wind is blowing.

Yes. From you, toward the Jews.

It gives meaning to their otherwise (imaginary or not) failures.

Psychologists believe that the search for meaning is common in conspiracism and the development of conspiracy theories, and may be powerful enough alone to lead to the first formulating of the idea. Once cognized, confirmation bias and avoidance of cognitive dissonance may reinforce the belief. In a context where a conspiracy theory has become popular within a social group, communal reinforcement may equally play a part.

It's an interesting article, too long to post here but worth a read.
