Hillary Clinton is Done

Got a link for that assertion?

Here's the latest speech that Sanders gave at a DNC fundraiser, but he has never given a paid speech in private to a wall street firm.

Here's one from January:

Has Sanders asked the DNC to release said transcripts or if they do is he planning on ginning up the accusation the DNC is conspiring against him?

That's your strawman to support.

When you defend and support stuff like this:

It's easy to see how your perspective becomes so skewed.

Will you join me in calling for all candidates for president to release transcripts of all of the public and private speeches they have ever given ?

Clinton also released her transcript of the speech touting the benefits of hiring more women.

Show us one from Sanders' annual speeches at the Hampton's.

Oh for pity's sake, look up the definition of a straw man. Hint: a question is not a straw man, it's a question.

False dichotomy "for the win".

A straw-man argument can be presented or insinuated in a question.

Join me in calling on all candidates running for president to release all transcripts of all speeches given (private or public) over the last 20 years, and denounce all who refuse to make such releases.

It makes you look bad defending the indefensible. Answer the question, did Sanders ask the DNC to release the transcripts or not?

Pretty sure that's what Clinton said she'd do. She has a good point not caving to a unilateral release of material that can be cherry picked for one-line zingers.

I have no idea whether Sanders has asked them to, or not, it was a DNC general Senate candidate fund-raiser, one that many outstanding members of the Senate attend to every year. The fundraiser committee would seem to have the rights to that material. None of that is of any interest. What is of interest is whether or not Clinton is telling private interests who are investing a lot of money in her and the politics she represents something different than she is telling the American people during her campaign for president. Likewise, I would be very interested in knowing the exact same thing about every candidate.

Pretty sure that's what Clinton said she'd do.

Not quite, in fact, she has not even presented compelling evidence that Sanders has ever even given a private, paid speech to any Wall street investment or financial organization, yet alone refused to release the transcripts of such a speech.

She has a good point not caving to a unilateral release of material that can be cherry picked for one-line zingers.

Only to those who bother themselves over one-line zingers.

For a candidate who is supposed to have been done for almost a year, Clinton just keeps on leading the delegate race, and is still the odds on favorite for President. Because of her huge lead in super-delegates, Cook Political has calculated how Sanders needs to perform in each primary/caucus just to keep pace. Clinton is over-performing, and Sanders is lagging.

An interesting argument that Hillary would be far better able to help other Democrats at all levels than Sanders:
Hillary Clinton has raised $26 million for the Democratic National Committee and state Democratic parties so far this campaign. And Sanders? $1,000..... The Obama presidency has been a disaster for the Democratic Party nationwide. Clinton has pledged to rebuild the party and has begun to make good on that promise. Sanders, by contrast, has shown little concern for the very real crisis the party faces beneath the presidential level. Since Obama’s election in 2008, Democratic losses at all other levels have been staggering: 69 House seats, 13 Senate seats, 910 state legislative seats, 30 state legislative chambers and 11 governorships. Democrats are at their weakest position in state capitols in nearly a century; they have unified control of only 11 legislatures, while Republicans control 30 (31 if you include nominally nonpartisan Nebraska).

I'm not a Hillary fan, but if voting for Sanders means the Republicans lock up every other office, it's something to lose sleep over.

Sanders entire campaign is predicated upon the notion of political (aka, electoral) revolution. Give people something worth voting for, and they'll vote.
