Hillary Clinton is Done: part 3

advocating murder? really?

And here I was thinking people were using the "realist" argument to advocate giving power to mass murderers. Sure you want to take the moral high ground on this one?

I wonder what would happen in a hypothetical similar election but with choices between Hitler and Mussolini. Would the realists be singing the praises of "Mussolini for president!" everywhere?

But even with all the things you bring up, it is still just a bunch of choices made by individuals who each have a large range of alternative choices available to them, not any logical or physical requirements being put on them. The term "realism" for this would hence seem misguided.

Obviously, we have very differing ideas of what reality entails, with the highlighted being a clue that your reality is, well, not what most people think. No one has to put any "requirements" on voters to understand that the only realistic choice is Clinton or Trump.

What's surprising about that? Surely the FBI had access to government departments?

the FBI got the 14.9k new emails from Hillary's servers. where did you get the belief that they came from "government departments?"

It's very telling the Republicans know they can't win the POTUS election so they need to keep pursuing more and more witch-hunts.

I agree that Clinton or Trump are the most likely outcomes. I also agree that, given the low approval ratings of each, this is because most people see this as a binary election. The problem is that the electorate barely registers the 3rd party candidates as options and they don't have enough money or support to change that meaningfully. The Libertarians and the Green Party are more prominent but still pretty fringe. Therefore, it is effectively a binary election. Thats just the reality we have, not the ideal scenario we might want.

Ahh, it is the Republicans fault the Fbi found almost 15k of emails hillary and her lawyers failed to turn over to State.

'K.

No, I think it's more the whole 'Even though every single one of our hearings and examinations have failed to find anything, this time will be different!' mentality. Good luck with your latest witch-hunt, but we all know it will turn out like your last 30 or 40.

ETA: Having to ask because the article is behind a firewall so I can't access it (I've used my free articles for the month) and I don't want to pay out money to just read a single article but from what I've read from other sources these are not emails she had in her possession at the time her lawyers were sorting through them.

Each one more comically inept than the last...

But that almost goes without saying. The first one might be a little sloppy, but as soon as it comes up empty, the solution is to do it right the next time.

However, after that comes up empty, the only recourse is to reach more and more. Next thing you know, you are trying to subpeona someone who called into the Sean Hannity show claiming to be a drone operator from Iowa.

Because, you know, you never could find a list of all the drone operators who were working at the time.

Here are some details.

New York Times

The dispute over Hillary Clinton’s email practices now threatens to shadow her for the rest of the presidential campaign after the disclosure on Monday that the F.B.I. collected nearly 15,000 new emails in its investigation of her and a federal judge’s order that the State Department accelerate the documents’ release....While the emails were not in the original trove of 55,000 pages that Mrs. Clinton’s lawyers handed to the State Department last year, the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, said in July that he did not believe they had been “intentionally deleted.” Still, he characterized Mrs. Clinton’s handling of classified information during her years at the State Department as “extremely careless.”....A State Department spokesman, Mark C. Toner, said it would have to review the documents to determine which were personal or work-related, and whether any duplicated emails had already been released in response to lawsuits brought by the conservative watchdog group, Judicial Watch, under the Freedom of Information Act.

It's obviously not good for her campaign. I'm not sure what Clinton can do about this since it seems the train has left the station and conservatives will continue to dig and try to keep this in the press. It is not my impression that these 15,000 emails were deliberately hidden but it creates a the continuous trickle of information that can keep it in the press (until Trump does something to dominate the cycle).

One could design a lecture on what the secretary of state does for high schools
1 assignment: read 100 emails, summarize
2 practice emails yourself
3 enact scene informing the loved ones of ambassadors who willingly took risky jobs and got killed

Is this for real? You know that the Benghazi Committee did track down that drone operator from Iowa and interviewed him, and the reason they had such a difficult time finding him was because some Democrat Political Hack at DoD stonewalled the requests and refused to turn over the list of all the drone operators who were working at the time!

They're not "new emails". Their existence has always been known. Its just another batch of emails. They're no more relevant than the last 30,000 emails. Most of these were never sent or received by Hillary but are " State Department emails" .

It's absurd how everyoned keeps jumping on each batch as if Clinton has been hiding them.

Evidence?

(because the WaPo article says the exact opposite, of course.... In fact the WaPo article says this is just 1 of 8 disks, all that were to or from Hillary, but acb don't care)

The FBI had them in their investigation, right?
