Hillary Clinton is Done: part 2

Without being able to trust the candidate, I can't be sure that they will stand up for any of the issues I care about. More specifically to your issues, yes I do care about these issues, but making sure that our planet, and society survive the issues that are currently threatening the existence of much of the life on the planet and a relatively stable human society, is at the top of the list of my concerns.

That you think Hillary is going to be just as bad as Cruz on the issues of gay rights and abortion shows that you have clearly kissed rationality goodbye.

I wonder if at Nixon's funeral anyone hailed his great courage and transparency during the Watergate scandal festival.

How are those in any way related? Nixon was facing criminal charges for Watergate, the thing that ruined his career. Reagan broke no laws regarding AIDS and his administration's budget cutting of the CDC at the time is way down the list of things anyone who hates Reagan holds against him.

For goodness sake she spoke nicely of someone at a funeral.

I have never said anything about Cruz in relation to gay rights or abortion. But Kasich and Hillary have more in common than Hillary and Bernie.

Gotta love the irony of a bloke elbow deep in support of the definition of an establishment candidate in a year when the nation is looking for a revolutionary answer for their problems telling me I'm irrational.

Apparently you don't know Kasich very well, and we already know you have a few misconceptions about Clinton.

In the meantime, she did quite well in the Illinois town meeting tonight. She only went on rambling on a campaign speech a couple times while Sanders did nothing else.

You say you want a revolution? Well, you know...

The times they are changing. Forget 'repug' and 'librul' - the new insult is being labeled a 'supporter of the establishment'. This apparently means anyone who doesn't think Revolution! is the answer to all their problems.

I hope you get your 'revolution'. In 4 years time I will be back to ask you how it's going - then we will see who was irrational...

Clinton said:
I don't know where he was when I was trying to get health care in '93 and '94, standing up the insurance companies, standing up against the drug companies.

Then the Sanders campaign posted a photo from '94 of Sanders standing behind Clinton on stage, supporting her.

Clinton's pushback:
Clinton campaign spokesperson said:
Hillary Clinton was out in front. Senator Sanders was in the background. She is the one that took the slings and arrows from the health care industry ... He is literally standing behind her, she is literally the one out front, as she was 20-25 years ago.
The degree of dishonesty and cynicism is breathtaking.

Yes, she did a fantastic job of alerting the world to the fact she will destroy the coal industry!

She really handled that one poorly. I went back to look for news reports that predated the current dispute and found this one from Politico: Long before challenging Clinton, Sanders reached out to her on health care. He got nowhere.

Fast forward 3 decades and nothing's changed.
In February [1993], Sanders requested a meeting with Hillary, “to bring in two Harvard Medical School physicians who have written on the Canadian system,” according to the records of the administration’s task force. Those physicians were Stephanie Woolhandler and David Himmelstein, leading advocates for single-payer health care.
They got their meeting at the White House that month, and the two doctors laid out the case for single-payer to the first lady. “She said, ‘You make a convincing case, but is there any force on the face of the earth that could counter the hundreds of millions of the dollars the insurance industry would spend fighting that?’” recalled Himmelstein. “And I said, “How about the president of the United States actually leading the American people?’ and she said, ‘Tell me something real.’ ”

She should be arguing it wasn't possible then or now and just having a POTUS pro-single payer will not change the Congress and she shouldn't be arguing the insurance industry money's influence alone, she should be tying that to Congress.

Just turned on CNN. The Shillary spin machine is in overdrive for this. They know she screwed the pooch, BIG TIME, on this one. Say goodbye to coal country. Never write attack adds, for your competition!

What's their take on it?

Same thing everyone else who saw her say it thought. Stupid...stupid...stupid. Granted she said it while talking about retraining those in the industry. It will not sell well to those too far in, or most of the industry. Her handlers cringed the second her lips began moving off of their scripts. I'm certain James Carville was yelling "shut her up", at his television!
Typical!:thumbsup::D

Hillary's done now for sure:-

KKK Leader Endorses Hillary Clinton
She is telling everybody one thing, but she has a hidden agenda," said Quigg. "She’s telling everybody what they want to hear so she can get elected, because she’s Bill Clinton’s wife, she’s close to the Bushes. Once she’s in the presidency, she’s going to come out and her true colors are going to show."
