Hillary Clinton Defends High-Dollar Speaking Fees

Your repeated non-answer provides the answer I expected in the first place.

You're off-base here. Since her husband's election in 1992, Hillary Clinton has never ever been in financial distress. For ex-presidents and their wives, money barely has any personal meaning, since there is always a fawning wealthy person around to lend them (or give them) whatever they need. Hillary's claim to be broke was both laughable and pathetic at the same time. She has a tendency towards almost desperate exaggeration from time to time. I'm not sure why she does it.

How does it make you feel knowing that she will be the next POTUS?

As I've stated a couple of times before here, I think she would be a decent President. Obviously, I would far prefer to see a Republican win, not because I care about labels particularly, and certainly not because I have anything directly to gain from Republican success (I'm not politically active or connected), but because, to a greater extent than ever before, politicians feel irresistible pressure to adhere to their party's fundamental tenets.

Even a Hillary victory, however, will do little to temper my joy and relief at seeing Obama and his minions finally relinquish the reins of power.

So it's OK for a Republican to get high fees for speaking, but bad for a Democrat to do it????????????????
