Help me determine the authenticity of this "whistleblower"...

Somebody had posted this in a Facebook group. The link is a transcript of an e-mail exchange that allegedly occurred between an ex-CIA agent and an unknown purpose.

If it's genuine, it is very real evidence of a potential 9/11 "inside job", in the form of a credible whistelblower admitting to the whole thing. However, it doesn't appear very genuine at first glance. It reads more like a Hollywood movie script than anything else, with our ex-CIA whistleblower using such cliche Hollywood-isms as "no more contacts for 24 hours" and "someone just walked in and he's staring me down, gotta go for now".

Following the "URL trail" brings me to a lone thread on a tiny Australian video gamer's forum: http://forums.ogn.com.au/showthread.php?t=54722&highlight=cia

That thread, plus the one Facebook thread where it got copy-pasted onto, is the only place on the entire Internet where this alleged conversation is posted, which is what makes me so suspicious about its authenticity: if it were genuine, I'd expect it to be plastered all over the Internet.

Anyway, I need everybody to read it, and tell me what the next step is as for as determining whether it's "for real". Because if it is (which I highly doubt), we've got some serious business on our hands (i.e. the possibility that the Truthers are right!)

I smell a John Tutor type hoax. Nothing here seems the slightest bit provacative, and I am familiar with all of this from conspiracy type websites. I know that he seems to link Eric Rudolph to the government, which seems strange; more so that he doesn't seperate him from the Oklahoma city bombing, almost like he thinks Rudolph did it.

A lot of reference to Tesla, which isn't unusual for the conspiracy types. A lot of ambigious claims. Micro-nukes and such. I will leave this to better people to look into, but my gut feeling is that it is the troof movements version of a Tutor.

9/11 was a complicated operation. Pentagon, I believe, was hit by an old fighter jet remotely flown and painted to look like a commercial flight. The Pentagon is SURROUNDED by HUNDREDS of auto-launch defensive missiles. Someone had to manually switch off the 'incoming friend or foe' ('IFF') system, or the craft would have needed a 'friendly' radio signal transmitter to prevent being blown to pieces LONG before reaching the building. 'IFF' transmitters are NEVER, EVER installed on civilian aircraft.

That link reminds me of a site I read where some mall security guard was trying to come across like his line of work is comparable to fictional stories like those in the TV show '24', describing ridiculous incidents involving weapons that security guards wouldn't even be allowed to carry, supposedly engaged in urban warfare with gangbangers, fighting off terrorists, and saving the life of a relative of the local mayor-- all in complete secrecy from the public, no less.

This doesn't have even the tiniest aspect to give me an impression that it's genuine. The account gives confusing details and then backpedals when asked about them, both claiming to be just a member of the operation(s) and simultaneously having overview information of the whole shebang. There's little to no consistency. That's not a judgment on the authenticity of the claims themselves, but of the reliability of the person describing the claims.

Also, the safe houses and networks of intrigue, among other things, sound an awful lot like a pumped-up version of the television show Burn Notice than it does anything believable.

IIRC IFF is Identification, friend or foe.

Some debris was simultaneously dropped from high altitudes by military aircraft.

One has to wonder if the used bombing sights or "smart debris"

He adds this after going on about Wer Bell's drunken bragging about killing Kennedy. (stupid NWO and their loose lipped minions that they won't kill for some reason...)

He claims his cousins body was placed on view at a funeral home in an advanced state of decomp which would be a MAJOR no-no.

Later in the "this is what I found out" section the base where this "CIA agent" was supposedly trained that the gubbment took great pains to conceal and will make your life hell if you drive by it too slow or try to take pictures (If they let you live!!!111!!) has write ups in the local paper...

That's just what i caught at first glance and I gotta call bull poop.

He also gets IFF wrong. It's "identification, friend or foe", not "incoming friend or foe".

This part puzzles me. It's something I've seen more than once, with different conspiracies. I mean... why wait for people to ask? Why not just tell while you know you still can? Waiting for people to ask questions just gives the evil NWO that much more time to stop you before revealing really damaging information.

This alone sets off multiple red flags that scream "HOAX".

One thing stuck out on the post at OGN, besides all the "one world government" tripe... why would we go to war with Kazakhstan? What, are we Uzbekistan's puppet now? Is it revenge for Borat's great success?

Also... if we're going to have a one world government, why is the Bush family supposedly bothering with a compound in Paraguay, and why is Halliburton supposedly headquartering in Dubai? Why go thousands of miles off when Dubai, Mumbai, Paraguay and Kootenay are all controlled by the same evil overlords?

Regardless of what it says, it's worthless. Without a real person stepping forward, someone whose identity can be confirmed, there's no point in even reading what they have to say.

Without an identity, or any link to the material world, it's just too easy for someone with a little time & creativity to forge something like that.

I've edited my post, but he's putting the need for an identifiable author before the need to determine the accuracy of the information provided. If we don't know exactly who wrote it, then it's worthless, if only because of that fact.

With something like this, it's easy enough to determine whether or not the information itself is worthless, without waiting around for the author to identify themselves before moving on to that step.

I think the credentials of the author are important. Especially when the information is proprietary, and hard to confirm (unlike this case when the information is obviously flawed) and to determine if one should even waste their time looking into it.

Exchange had been authored by Donald Rumsfeld it might be worth looking into. It might prove 9/11 was an inside job or that he was very misinformed about the defences around the Pentagon. Either way it's quite a story.

I think that's wrong. Like you said, if it's proprietary information, then yeah, knowing and verifying the author's credentials is needed, but... you still need to read what they've said in order to determine that.
