help find WTC7 paper

In the NIST preliminary report on the WTC7 collapse, as well as in the FEMA report, a paper by John J. Salvarinas is cited as a reference. Does anyone know where I can find it or can help locate it?

This may help you locate it, although it is probably out of print and you may have to search for a used copy:

http://worldcat.org/oclc/17340993&tab=holdings?loc=22202 - I found it on WorldCat, but it looks like not many places have it. With an ISBN number, perhaps Library of Congress should have it, if I get desperate. For now, I've contacted NIST to see if they can help.

If anyone else knows where I can find it or can help, it would be tremendously helpful
 
I've seen that. So often we see truthers say it's the "official" government story. It's a very interesting paper, and helpful to get the opinion of non-American experts on the topic.

If you can't find it elsewhere, I'd suggest writing or calling Mr. Salvarinas himself. He may very well be willing to provide a copy of the paper.

NIST is sending me a copy of the paper. Will have it when I get back from travel in mid-August.
 
Got it

I'm back from Japan. Was delayed coming back. The Salvarinas paper has arrived in my mailbox from NIST. They were very quick and helpful. I'll be spending the next few days reading it over. It's 14 pages of text and 30 pages of figures/photos. Might scan it into my computer to have a digital copy.

My apologies for not posting the paper quickly. I'm in process of moving my website to a different server, and updating the site with a new design and some new content. My deadline to have this done is the end of the week, when I'll be traveling again.

Due to copyright concerns, I can't permanently post the paper, but would be willing to put it up temporarily and send the link to those interested.

The paper is interesting and detailed about design constraints faced in building 7 WTC, about the steel construction, and other such details, though I don't think it adds much that's not already mentioned in the NIST and FEMA reports. It essentially confirms things, but with more technical details/language, and makes it more obvious where NIST got some of the information.
