Heinlein question, re "Friday".

I don't believe it is explicitly stated (IIRR) but I believe it was Hartley Baldwin.

It was quite explicitly stated late in the book when one character asks Friday "How's Kettle Belly these days" (the Baldwin character in Gulf) and Friday says he's dead. And to another character who uses the Kettle Belly name, she replies something aslong the lines of "do not use that ridiculous nickname"

Boss also relates at least two plot lines from Gulf, about the "Supermen" leaving Earth and the two lead characters adventures on the moon narrated in Gulf.
