For those of you who either missed it, or wish to reminisce about it, I happen to have some video of the hecklers who rudely interrupted Mark Roberts' (Gravy's) presentation, taken with my very own video camera.

It seems that Part 1 has gotten more views than Part 2, so far. For this reason, I wish to make the following announcement:

PART 2 is funnier!!!!!! If you only have time to watch one of the videos, make sure it is Part Two!! (Not part one.)

If you have time for both, certainly watch both. But, I'm tellin' you: Those who fail to watch part 2, are missing out on the good stuff!!

Part 2 is funnier, not only because of your scenery-chewing, but because of my laissez-faire attitude towards direction and rehearsal at 2 am. Horatius saved the end of the first heckling. I had assigned those lines to you, but Grayman brilliantly suggested you for the end of the presentation, and I forgot to reassign the earlier lines.
 
Of course, I just now realized the aspect ratio is off on the first video. It was all shot and edited in widescreen. But, the YouTube player squishes it into 4:3 ratio. Oh well.

In the second part, my intro was filmed in 4:3, but since the actual heckler footage was in widescreen, it got letterboxed by the video editor. Hence its aspect ratio is correct on YouTube.

Not that anyone really cares, of course. I'm just trying to find clever excuses to "bump" this thing.

I'd have killed to have been able to jump in, but sadly I'd brought only my own lines. :mad:

Wowbagger has raised the bar very high indeed.

Ever since Skeptic magazine published an investigative article on the 9/11 "Truth Movement" and analyzed their claims, which were found wanting, I have been hounded by the so-called 9/11 "truthers" because I am the editor of the magazine and therefore am suppose to be a "skeptic" of the official explanation for 9/11.

He's got several of those videos on his site. He handles them well.

Here's a different approach. At a book signing, David Frum instructs a truther to "take stronger medication."



Bill Clinton has smacked down truther hecklers several times. Here's a recent one:

“Are you one of those it was an inside job guys?" the former president asked. Continuing, "Hillary agrees we should end the war, but we have heard from you now, now you hear from me. I let you be rude and interrupt me screaming at the top of your lungs. Nine-eleven was NOT an inside job, it was an Osama Bin Laden job with 19 people from Saudi Arabia, they murdered 3000 Americans and others foreigners including Muslims and we look like idiots, that the people who murdered our fellow citizens did it, when they are continuing to murder other people around the world. So we heard from you, you go away," Clinton said to the cheering crowd.
