have you watched derren browns "the experiment"

Hypnosis is the ultimate placebo. Stage hypnosis is the ultimate bizarre form of entertainment. Suggestion is my hobby and I have watched state of the art stage hypnotists and interviewed some their subjects after the show and the truth is my research is as inconclusive as everyone else's is.

I can perform hypnosis on a certain level but some pretty girls balk at my suggestions to do all my bidding.

I need to practice more.

OK, if this is about Patty Hearst we are talking brainwashing (just as possibly a woo a subject as hypnosis). Being locked in a closet for weeks and being sexually abused is nothing like hypnosis. The issue is when you get a chance to run do you run or has your mind been damaged.

Patty Hearst represents to me why we can't be certain how these things work. Tortured GI's just said what Korean torturers made them say, but they never were actually brainwashed. Patty Hearst had no reason to buy into her torturer's beliefs except they locked her in a closet and tortured her.

Is brain washing possible? I would like to say no but in Hearst's case it makes no sense but that that she was.

When I was young I was lucky that no one tried to influence me to do anything wrong because I may have been easily influenced when young. Now it would be shame on me to be influenced to do wrong. I am not now easily influenced.

Read Robert Cialdini's methods of influence. That will protect you from manipulation.

I suspect Azrael may have been referring to Derren Brown's The Heist TV special, rather than Patty Hearst.
 
Does anyone know when the next Derren Brown show is coming on tv?

This could have jsut been a giant attention grabber for it fi there is one coming soon
