"Are we having difficulty distinguishing truth from fiction?"
Said the Fisherman to the Preist.
Sorry, wrong thread.
What a great segue. Somebody just suggested that it was a lack of faith in science that disrupted space travel. It seems that for some reason, science took a back seat to religion until Sir Francis Bacon published his treatise. They lacked faith in the old deductive reason, and waited for Bacon to come up with the inductive style to resume the work.
Is there an astronomer in the house?
Is the moon in Saggitarius? I am just taking a wild ass guess, but my indwelling spirit says I am right. Any believers in the house?
My wife passed in '04, but she "speaks" from the dead, and said I was right too. She confirmed the communication of Amy, my first indwelling. Are you going to call me a liar, or check the star charts first? I have no clue, and I am truthfully telling you what the spirits are saying. I don't like to lie.
If I am wrong, it will have a devastating effect on my "faith." My faith is belief and trust, and if I am wrong, I will not be able to "trust."
If they are wrong, and I am wrong, this will be the last time I mention it. The feelings are very strong. I have mentioned before that spirits lie. Amy is one who rarely has lied to me.
Edit:
Oops, they lied. 8 more days before the moon arrives in Sagittarius. That is actually pretty bad. I really trusted these signals. Almost as much as I trusted the god who never answered my prayers. At least I have my faith in science.
