So since yesterday morning (actually until about early afternoon) the fundies have managed to pull a stunt to spare their disciples from the fairly obvious insight that Danes in general don't believe in creationism, which, of course, is also a kind of accomplishment!

The newspaper writes about its own poll that until yesterday afternoon the distribrution of the percentages were as you might expect in Denmark,

i.e. that a little more than 5 percent do not believe in Darwin, 8 percent are undecided, whereas 87 percent believe in Darwin's teachings.

But then things changed, and right now the percentages are 63,08, 2,32 and 34,59!
The really interesting thing in this context, however, is that so far this Danish poll received far more votes from computers in Turkey, one of the centres of European creationism, than Denmark! (See the article, the names of the countries are all in English.)

I have never seen a natural tree get built. Oddly, we see them growing, out of the ground, after a seed falls there. Weird. I have never seen a tree factory either. *scratches head* Just plastic trees are made in factories, so I thought. I can usually tell the difference between a plastic tree and one that grew into existence though. I don't have to water the plastic tree.

How can anyone compare tree growth to building a building???
