Yeah, watched one of those Top15s vids again. I personally think this is done with a movie editor, but could be wrong.

Story goes like this. Someone heard a terrifying scream and when this guy turned on his flashlight, a bunch of arms and hands go through his celling and floor. Then his flashlight goes out and after a while (probably long enough to put on that costume), he turns it on again and this thing covered in hands stands there and roars in the camera (I admit that I got spooked from that reaction).

I personally call him Handy Man.

The key to its fakeness is the fact that there are about 2 or 3 different hand/arms. Other than that, they are all identical. That's where they screwed up. There may even be only one but in different sizes, but the majority of them all look alike.

I never do this. Just some stuff that interest me and how they did it.

Also, both topics I made appear in the same video. The strange noises thing is around 16:00. The Hand Demon around 7:00.

For an amateur video, that was pretty good. I think it would have been better had he acted more afraid, perhaps recording and cutting in audio of his terrified reactions.
