Hamas crimes against humanity

Do tell Wikipedia they need to update their entry for Morris. After Morris was busted by "old historians" on his manipulation of Ben Gurion's statements and his falsification of various historical documents, Morris was forced to recant his previous allegations. You may now return to Googling-For-Message-Board-Responses.
wiki??? what are you going on about?
My source are direct quotes of morris by Haaretz last year. Have you anything better? have you anything at all?

here is some more pleasant reading for you to close your eyes to..

" About half of the acts of massacre were part of Operation Hiram [in the north, in October 1948]: at Safsaf, Saliha, Jish, Eilaboun, Arab al Muwasi, Deir al Asad, Majdal Krum, Sasa. In Operation Hiram there was a unusually high concentration of executions of people against a wall or next to a well in an orderly fashion."

Nice to be orderly isn't it......more good material for Webfusion to try to massage into a sunday bus ride in the country...

Healing can not commence until you face facts....I guess I just can't fathom what is required to be an apologist for such acts.....revulsion and condemnation of such acts is the only response I am capable of...

Ah, Googled to Ha'aretz this time? I would think that even someone with a self-confessed loss of half his IQ would know about Benny and his "evolution" on the "forced expulsion" of Arabs. Ha'aretz is ok to Google, but, better to subscribe to.

Because "they" are long deceased, replaced by new generations of professional "refugees".

The Nahkba was 61 years ago. I'm sure a few hundred thousand 1st generation refugees are still alive and well.

I say, let those who want to return to Israel, return and become Israeli citizens. The rest should be compensated for their lost property and settle right where they are or move to the West Bank, which will become the new Palestine.

According to Wikipedia, over 50 Palestinians have been killed by Hamas in reprisal attacks against suspected collaborators and others.

According to Fatah, 181 Palestinians have been ruthlessly murdered or maimed by Hamas:

Their reign of terror must be ended for the welfare of ALL.

How is that a crime against humanity? It's a series of murders against Palestinians by a local criminal gang.

No skin off my arse.

DR

Funny how a thread about Hamas' crimes quickly derails into another thread about how bad Israel has been.

Hamas is not a gang. They are a political party elected to lead a country. They are indeed guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

But finally, the Russian govt. or Czars were never tried and convicted by the International War Crimes Court in the Hague, for the Russian pogroms which killed thousands of Jews and sent millions fleeing. But we all know these were crimes against humanity.
No, we don't all know that. They were violence against Jews by Russians, sanctioned by the officialdom of Czarist Russia. The casual cruelty of it sickens the modern mind, to be sure, but it was pretty mild compared to, let's say, the war in Congo over the past ten years.

But the pogroms were no skin off my arse. (Well, at least not off of the arses of my great great grandparents. I wasn't born yet.)

By the way, about three hundred million Chinese didn't give a crap, at the time, nor did most people not in Russia.

DR

You understand my point. Just because the International War Crimes Court did not make a ruling on the pogroms, doesn't mean the pogroms were not a crime against humanity.

No, they were elected in Gaza. And when you said they were elected to "lead" a country, lead a country where?

Those original Arabs who abandoned the nascent Israel in the throes of an existential war, especially those compounding things by fleeing to the enemy, are not deserving, IMO, of resettlement in Israel nor of reparations. Those who can substantiate having been expelled from Israel should receive reparations provided there is a reciprocal program with Arab nations of reparations to those several hundreds of thousands of Jews expelled in 1948 Don't hold your breath.

want another try?
I provide a quote from Benny from last year. Do you have anything better, do you have anything at all?

caught out again "lying for Israel"??

either put up or go away....constant irrelevant replies achieves nothing

All refugees that flee in times of war, are always allowed to return. That is the law of the UN Charter...which Israel agreed to. As with the Genera Conventions, which Israel signed.

If Israel is under no obligation to allow back refugees from the 1948 and 1967 wars, then the nations of Eastern Europe were under no obligation to allow back Jews who were displaced throughout the former Nazi empire.

In the interest of intellectual curiosity, why don't you sit down and read the history of Morris's positions on Arab dispossession, rather than merely cherry-picking cold Googled statements? Then, get back to me and we can have a thoughtful discourse. I bet you're not so foolish after all, just lacking in confidence, perhaps.
