According to Pastor John Hagee, the U.S. military is no longer able to win wars because of Satan worship and increasing “paganism” in America. Hagee, who is an official endorser of Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s The Response prayer rally and a prominent Religious Right leader, delivered the remarks in a speech to last year’s Word Explosion Conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

It's degrees of godliness.

Christians are the best, then Jews, then Muslims. See they are all in the same division, just different teams.

So pagans can win when they're only fighting other pagans, the farm league teams.

They weren't True Pagans! ;)

Actually, I suspect many Christians would make this argument for real. That pre-Christian pagans developed religions that were just shadowy or error-prone versions of the same revelation--basically God setting things up for the coming of Jesus. Modern day neo-pagans have flat out rejected Christianity.

Curiously, Haggee is blaming "worship of Satanism" and not "worship of Satan" or simply "Satanism". I'm pretty sure he's overestimating the number of people in the U.S. military who worship Satanism!

Dont forget atheists. He is likely one of those guys that doesn't believe in simple disbelief and thinks we are all atheists because we actively hate god.

ETA: then again whacktards like this probably also include anyone that has CD's by AC/DC, KISS, Ozzy and Dio in thier collection as worshippers of satanism as well. My mother in law informed me years ago that AC/DC actually was an acronym for Anti Christ/ Devils Chil and KISS was Knights In Satans Service. I was almost in pain from laughing that hard when I realized she was serious. KISS? You couldn't find a less offensive band to hang that on? I was tempted to make up an acronym for ABBA and an evil background story to "Dancing Queen".

John Hagee is, in my opinion, what I call a "Triple-F": a fat freaking fraud. (Replace freaking with the curse word that starts with the letter f to see the saying in its true form.)

I strongly suspect the depth of his faith is tied directly to how much money he rakes in from it.
 
Maybe the whacktard can explain how atheistic Communists were able to throw off the Christian Romanov dynasty or to defeat the French at Dien Bien Phu.
