Huge storms spread across 18 states, and produced record low barometric pressure readings normally only seen in category 5 hurricanes.

I'm wondering if facilities like HAARP or EISCAT are responsible.

Should I die, or stop posting, will conclusively prove I'm right j/k

I am glad this thread started. I watched that appalling Ventura do an episode on HAARP and got me wondering what HAARP really is.

In the episode they said the program was designed to explore communications with deep diving submarines. Is this really the 'official' explanation, meaning the show might have gotten something right - Or does the government suggest they are doing something else

Something else entirely.
Unless you expect to find submarines in the ionosphere.

How mundane lol - thank you TjW. I particularly liked this bit from the FAQ

We recognize that there is great interest in the scientific work of the facility. In response to this interest, HAARP schedules open houses at which any and all are invited to visit the site. Several scientists are usually present at these open houses so that visitors can talk directly with those who use the facility for research. Open houses have been held most years since 1995 and have proven to be a popular event. The most recent open house was held on July 17, 2010.

Actually, one of the potential real world applications is submarine communications.

From the FAQ

Development of technology to use effects produced through ionospheric interactions. One example of this is learning how to generate new signals in the ELF range for the real application of subsurface communications.

INRM, there's a good chance it's HAARP. I think "they" are using it to cover up getting rid of some "undesirables" so if you have a basement I suggest you go hide in it.

Of course the operators of HAARP hate their relatives and therefore they target them......

might very well be HAARP!

So.. from now on if there is a big storm anywhere in the world the CTs will blame haarp? It's boring already..
BTW I think skeptoid has the best 'debunk haarp' article on the web.

How much energy is required to push around a couple million cubic miles of air?

What is the power output of HAARP or EISCAT?

By the Butterfly Principle, this much: < puckers up and ... puff >

Wait, maybe I should have done that outside -- the front wall of the living room just came down...

I'm suspicious too. Never in the history of Earth have there been severe storms that affected a wide area! Conspiracy!!11!111!!

The witch is a couple days early

The wind in the wires made a tattletale sound
And a wave broke over the railing
And every man knew, as the Captain did, too,
T'was the witch of November come stealing.

The church bell chimed, 'til it rang 29 times
For each man on the HAARP Fitzgerald.
