Yesterday, everyones favorite antiestablishment couple, Ed and Elaine Brown, were found guilty on all weapons charges.

In addition they have been convicted of conspiracy to prevent their arrests, conspiracy to forcibly resist arrest, felons in possesion of firearms, obstruction of justice, failure to appear for sentencing and failure to appear at trial (Just Ed for the last one)

But..but...I was told the court trembles and pronounces you innocent whenever you tell them that you've found out the real definition of income tax and that you can't be taxed!

The wingnuts on ATS are already declaring that this is some sort of "example" of what happens when you protest the government:

Actually, its just an example of what happens when you conspire to kill people. Small difference, you know. These two weren't exactly using peaceful protest methods. But hey, who needs details when we can elevate these two to saints among the CT nutjobs?

My guess is that they got nailed when they agreed to walk up to the front of the court room.

IIRC, wasn't their some remote connection between these two and Luke of We Are Change?

TAM:)

Alex Libman says they are heros, and he hopes to kill a few federal law enforcement officials before he goes:...

Some of us are speculating this is Alex's latest attempt at suicide by mod......

Alex Libman reminds me of me back when I was in my "libertarian phase". Seems to be something a lot of teenagers go through.

Except one major difference...I never advocated anybody's murder.

The man has mental issues and belongs in an asylum.

Not so remote. Alex had Luke and Matt Lepacek drive up to the Browns' house sometime in June 2007, and Luke gave a live report on the show. There are photos of Luke with the Browns in their house. In addition, We Are Change member Jason Gerhardt ended up staying with the Browns and was later sentenced to 20 years.

wasn't their arrest and conviction going to lead to a revolution??

what happened?

:D

It's happening right now. As we speak dozens of angry posts are being written on different conspiracy-friendly forums. Run for the hills. :D

I give you the revolution.

Somehow, these types don't seem like the kind to storm the Bastille....

Yeah, Alex acheived his objective: Got bragging rights on AnCap websites about how JREF was repressing him....
