Guiliani Suspended from Practicing Law

Rudi, like many nut jobs, might be trying to bring down The Simulation by doing something outrageous that hasn't been coded for.
It's the best explanation I have for his behavior.

He's got money. He's playing a game that he doesn't. Owns multimillion dollar condo in New York and another multimillion dollar house in Florida. Does he have 45 million? Maybe not.

I've said a couple of pages upthread that I don't think the injured parties will ever see a penny. His assets likely have loans against them, his legal bills are huge and he'll try to hide any wealth from the courts.

His type rarely pay.

It appears Giuliani will not be testifying in his own defense in the defamation case. I think everyone realizes what a disaster that would be. He has already lost that case. The only thing his testimony and cross-examination could have achieved is lots of evidentiary fodder for the Georgia criminal case. Since no plea deal has been offered to him there, he runs a real risk of dying in a Georgia prison.

Yes, he's probably hiding wealth, and yes, people in his station have the ability to do that.

No, the plaintiffs in the defamation case have little chance of seeing any substantial payout. Defamation cases are rarely about the money. No payout will prevent the drooling MAGA troglodytes from continuing making their lives hell. The best you can ever hope for is some kind of moral victory.

Worth it.

Geez, I’m getting awfully snarky lately, here and on another forum, quite uncharacteristically. I have to say, though, that it feels good. Maybe I’ll snap back into shape soon.

They'll never see that money and they so deserve it.

Giuliani continued with the stupid statements after the judgement:

"The absurdity of the number merely underscores the absurdity of the entire proceeding,"
“I am confident that when this case get before a fair tribunal, it will be reversed so quickly it will make your head spin, and the absurd number that just came in will help that actually,” he said."
"The comments [threats, etc.] they received, I had nothing to do with."
"I was not allowed to present one single piece of evidence in defense, of which I have a lot."
"I did not testify because the judge made it clear that if I made any mistake or said anything wrong, she would hold me in contempt and this judge does have a reputation of putting people in jail. And I thought, honestly, it wouldn't do any good."

Like Trump, he doesn't know when to shut up.

Nope.

Such a turd. Rudy played games throughout the entire pretrial process. He's had almost three years to present evidence supporting his claims of election fraud by Freeman and Moss and failed. The state of Georgia investigated his claims and found them to be false. He "stipulated" he defamed them. This is NEVER going to be overturned.

Like Trump, he doesn't know when to shut up.

I love how the party of law and order—"If you're innocent, you have nothing to fear"—can suddenly find all kinds of things wrong with the court system.

"The comments [threats, etc.] they received, I had nothing to do with."

Zero remorse and zero sense of responsibility for his actions. This will really come back to bite him in the butt when he's standing before a judge in Georgia. As Giuliani well knows, unrepentant convicts don't fare well.

"I was not allowed to present one single piece of evidence in defense, of which I have a lot."

Comedy gold. Giuliani lost his case by default for failing to satisfy discovery—for failing to produce anything he was obliged to present. But it's hilarious to watch him vacillate between complaints of being muzzled and expressions of fearfulness to testify.
