Google Chrome page load problem - White Page of Death

In case you are also having it, their web site addresses it. Here is the fix for Macs. Must be something in their latest upgrade. I haven't fixed it yet, I'm toggling between Chrome and Safari instead.

Who else is using Chrome, and/or a Mac and having or not having this problem? I reinstalled adobe flash and the problem stopped for a couple days then today started up again. Safari works fine.

I use Chrome and have been having more than my usual number of eternally loading pages lately, if that's what you mean by white page of death. The first link you posted leads to the Chrome technical difficulties forum, where I really didn't find anything particularly helpful. It's a big place though, so it's likely I just wasn't looking in the right spot.

For me it's just been intermittent screens with Loading... Please Wait. Usually I can fix the problem by trying and retrying to get the page to load, but not always.

I use Chrome and never had a white page of death. Not had any problems with it for ages. Is there any pages you get this problem on? It could be that I have not loaded the wrong pages.

The link in the OP goes to a top level menu. Not to a page that discusses the issue.

The pages I have trouble with flash for less than a second and then the screen goes all white. It happens now with any Youtube page, and many others. JREF works fine. My yahoo home page flashes on for a second then goes to the weather link.

Again, Safari works fine. My son says adobe, chrome and Macs are not happy with each other lately.

If I disable Adobe Flash the pages load but I can't play any videos.

I play a lot of Youtube videos. I subscribe to 47 channels. Not had any problems with that.

I am using Chrome, but I do not use a Mac.
