God's children and Humans?

Perhaps they married monkeys.

Incest or monkeys?

Eh, I don't know. A few beers, a little cuddling while watching horses mate, and bam! Mom-n-monkey 3-way. And anyway, nobody had figured out it was "wrong", yet. Indeed, Adam may have led the way as he experimented at the behest of God to finally find out that no animals met his needs quite the right way, so God decided he needed a woman.

Well, not necessarily true. Eve could have let large numbers of her sons nail her, and then her sons, including Cain, could have merely married their half-sisters.

Actually, my mom explained this all to me when I was little -- as Adam and Eve were direct products of God, there were no genetic flaws. Hence siblings bearing children together would have suffered no risk of genetic defects. Hence there was no reason for it to be considered wrong.

And the defects just cropped up later on.

EWWWWW! I've always found that "perfect genetics" argument to be so much BS--otherwise there'd be no incest taboo for people using birth control, or for same-sex incest. Incest taboos are about violating the social order that protects children, not about genetics. Your argument proves it--I doubt you'll find a creationist who will buy into that incest scenario.

[brutal cynic]Of course it's more likely that Adam took advantage of his daughters after Eve got old and tired and fat...[/brutal cynic]

Sorry, that's not what the Bible says. Genesis 7:17-23

If the Nephilim weren't in the Ark, they were SOL.

Alternatively, they weren't a branch of humanity that lived in the pre-oceanit black sea, and who were therefore not drowned or dislocated.
