i'm done here.
i have no interest in discussing my beliefs or practices to be flayed for them.
while the discussion was civilized, it was cool.
i am the first to admit that personal religious beliefs and practices are not logic based.
but, such is the nature of religion.
i have already stated my uncertainty about the nature of god/gods.
The point was that the druids of today have nothing to do with the druids of yesteryear.
I mean no disrespect, I merely like to know why you call yourself a druid, when you can't compare yourself to any druids that ever lived, since they left no written word for you to follow.
If you want to call yourself a druid, then you'd better show that you are a druid, and not a romantic searching for a label (Like I was when I was interested in Wicca and witchcraft).
Modelling yourself after (or even just following the writing of) so-called druids from the 18th century makes you as much a druid as they were - Not at all.
