I just had a thought...

god definitely has a beginning and end as Universe itself has not deserved such a punishment as to having to put up with god for ever.

But maybe the Universe's ancestors did something weird, so the Universe itself was born with the "original sin" and therefore deserves eternal punishment

Any universe graced with the presence of monkeys deserves eternal existence. Or at least, existence for as long as the monkeys remain. After they go, what's the point?
