And watch the Daily Show as well (just before the Colbert Report). Colbert was on the Daily Show before he got his own program. He excelled in zinger comedy interviews.

Colbert is impressive with the zingers and jokes, but Jon Stewart (of the Daily Show) is probably the best interviewer of all human kind. Barbara Walters used to be considered a great interviewer. Jon Stewart takes it to a whole other level.

I can't say that I am a dedicated fan but I do like The Daily Show, when I catch it. The first time I saw Colber do an interview, I admit to not knowing who the joke was on; the interviewer or the interviewee. When I realized he was making fun, I got a kick out of him. I don't know which one I like more, though. I think it's pretty even.

I rarely get to watch, but whenever I do there's at least one gag that gets a laugh out of me. Even the gags that don't work, on both Stewart and Colbert's shows, are amusing.
