There was a programme on Sky in the UK about religion in sport last week, largely athletics from the section I saw.
It still didn't answer the question, what if everyone in the race crosses themselves beforehand, does the most devout win?
Can't help wondering what Betty Battenburg will make of Helen Mirrin saying if it weren't for her she wouldn't have won the Oscar. What did she mean: "Thanks for your heir's ex dying in a car crash and you having to put up with a decade of CT nuts saying you had her offed. Must be terrible but hey, it got me this trophy."?
I would rather someone get up there and call it like they really see it:I want someone to blame God when they loose
I would rather someone get up there and call it like they really see it:
"I want to thank God, because obviously he wanted me to win, and my fellow nominees to lose."
God was way into The Departed, I'm sure. Little Miss Sunshine most likely lost because it mentioned Nietzsche too many times. God hates that.
I wonder if God is the reason why Al Pachino didn't win in The Devil's Advocate. Wasn't even nominated.
