Global Warming And The End Times

Can't wait for what the rapturetroll has to say about the approach of Mars over the next few days.

Since Liberals say so,cause you should know that 99 Percent of what Liebrals say is half truths or lies anyway.
If your are not being sarcastic (I cant tell because of lack of smilie), I have to say, billie, making up your own facts doesnt constitute for a very strong arguement.

(Let me try a few practice swings...)

"In August 2003, six days into the month, temperatures soared to 109F degrees at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, surpassing the old record of 108F set in 1952."

The average record high for August in Dallas (all 31 days) is 107F with a max of 115F and a min of 104F. Having lived there for 15 years I can attest to the fact that Dallas gets stinkin hot in the summer. Five years ago it got up to 108F in May. So when it gets statistically insignificanlty hot in August it means the world is gonna end? What a stoopid religion.

Did anybody notice all the helpful information on that Society for Cooler Heads website link I posted?

according to ice core samples, until the last ice age temperatures varied wildly, even from year to year. the ice age had a moderating effect globally, and it has been theorized that the slightly increasing temperature change that we have been privy to are simply because the moderation caused by the last ice age is beginning to wear off.

Yea, I've been reading about this too - The world's temperature historically swings rapidly from one extreme to another (geologically speaking)

Maybe our generation (and our kids) might need sunscreen, but our grandkids and great grandkids might need mukluks.

I'm a little thick headed sometimes so I'm not real sure what you are asking. This web site seems to be advocating the notion that economic imperative especially as it relates to consumer pricing trumps any mamby-pamby concerns we might have about the industrial impact on global warning. It then goes on to claim that it is "non-partisan" and lists the Heritage Foundation as a member - uummmmmm, yeah sure.
