Glenn Beck sitting on explosive story:

glenbeckidiot.jpg

I just got word that Scott at Where Liberty Dwells (some of you may remember Free Conservatives) emailed about the Beck conspiracy. Seems they have proof Obama blackmailed Justice Roberts to get him to vote for Obamacare. They have the 'embarrassing emails'.

Seriously.

Apparently Roberts wouldn't resign over the scandalous documents since that would've allowed Obama to replace him.

Really.....seriously.

If he did, he's the sharpest President in recent memory.

Over in the 9/11 forum, a regular Truther once seriously wondered if I might be Glenn Beck.

Dang, cover blown. Believe me, this information will blow many minds.

It involves the impending bacon shortage, but that's all I can say right now.

Gads, I do miss that show.
And just for the record, I was kidding. The folks on "Match Game" could not actually say "diarrhea." They could, however, say "boobs," which George Carlin found to be an amusing example of a double-standard.

If one must announce one has an important revelation 24 hours in advance to drum up interest, one does not have an important revelation.

^Bingo^

Beck probably is sitting on something explosive, just not in the manner he intended his announcement to suggest.

Actually, he says "maybe". And it all depends on a meeting that is "supposed' to happen. He's got enough out cards in that little monolog to free himself from a federal supermax.

I have no love for Rush Limbaugh, but given that he hasn't been fat for years, isn't it time to retire the fat jokes?

Agreed! Making fun of his opiate-induced hearing loss is an evergreen, however.

An oldie from 2003 (improved):

To the tune of Truckin' by the Grateful dead.

Truckin', got my OxyContin
Keep truckin, like the guys on ESPN
Together, me and Wilma Cline, we just keep truckin' on

Thousands of Xanax copped with a fake prescription
In West Palm I got power and financial means
Your typical city involved in a typical daydream
What does it matter? I can't hear a thing!

Philadelphia's got no quarterback
Houston? George, he wants my autograph
In New York I got a cochlear implant
But I still don't know anything, oh no

Most of the Lorcet I buy on the streets costs me too much
Most of the time I wish I could buy it at home
One of these days I'm going to get a prescription
If all this were legal The Enquirer'd be writing about UFO's

Truckin', like Don McNabb. He once asked me "Why you do babble so bad?
Did you just get back from Peru?
You must be sniffing glue"

Sometimes the light's all shinin' on me
Other times Noelle Bush hangs up her goddamned phone on me
Lately it occurs to me: What an ********* I have been

What in the world ever became of my ratings?
My lawyers advise me not to say a thing
Talent on loan from hydrocodone
All a friend can say is "Ain't it a shame?"

Truckin', up to Betty Ford. Been thinking "got to take out
Drew Barrymore" or maybe I'll find the Lord

At the buffet it'll be bombs away
What the Palm Beach County State Attorney wants me to say
Antipsychotics in the gravy
What have they put in my food to make me feel this way?

Busted by my housekeeper
Six figures is what I heard they paid her
Ditto to what I spent last year
On ten thousand elixirs, oh no

You know, I told you there’s nothing good about drug use
It destroys individuals, families and societies
Drug use, some might say, is destroying this country
I'll meet you in the parking lot over at Denny's, okay?

Sometimes the light's all shinin' on me
Other times Noelle hangs up her goddamned phone on me
Lately it occurs to me: What an ********* I have been

Well he certainly has provided a lot of entertainment for many people in this thread. I guess he really is an entertainer...

The fusion of entertainment, and enlightenment

Those are the words that begin his multi-hour radio show. Nothing in that about news, or journalism, or accuracy, or facts. Reminds me a little of people who read the book of revelation and think it is predicting events that are occurring now, centuries after it was written, and starts with the words "The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. "

His genius is how he can give that disclaimer, and still get the following he has.

Every times he announces a civilization-shattering explosion, and it turns out to be more like a firecracker, he probably loses some audience. But the die-hards can probably turn it around to the more unreliable he is the more they believe him. Weird how that works!

Oh absolutely. Beck is the modern day equivalent of the Side Show Geek. Back when side shows toured the country a popular character was the Geek. A man who pretended to be mentally unstable and would bite the heads off of chickens.

Very entertaining.
