I, of course, personally don't find it likely that Glenn Beck raped and murdered a girl in 1990. But it's baffling to me that he's not been willing to release the documents that would clear this whole thing up. You would think that he would want to just put these very serious questions to rest.

I agree. I think it's fairly damning that he has not even chosen to address, let alone deny, these allegations.
 
Starting a rumor like this is one of the worst things you can do to another person. It's like a high school girl getting pissed at a male instructor for flunking her and crying rape. Even when if the instructor is proven innocent, he has to quit the job and he will have a stigma attached to his good name forever more.

People that start **** like this should punished to the full extent of the law. It is libel, defamation of character in it's worst form. If I was Glenn I would start making anonymous calls to the Child Protective Agency making claims of child abuse about any of those jerkwads that have kids.

I keep hearing people say, "Well, why doesn't he release documents...or whatever to prove his innocence. That's like trying to disprove a negative and it's not up to him to prove anything. It is up to the court to do so.

I think whoever started this had better come up with some concrete evidence or they are going to get sued in ways they don't even exist.

Like him or not, imagine yourself being accused of being a pedophile and having to try to prove you're not.

Yes, because clearly when someone comes up with immature crap like they're 14 year old boys, escalation is the proper course of action.
 
It's not just a parody of his particular conspiracy theory, but (unintentionally) of all of them.

Right now, for example, we have supporters on this very forum (er, fora?) of claims that (a) 9/11 was planned by Bush, (b) Israelies stole organs from Palestinians they killed, and (c) the holocaust never happened and Hitler was a misunderstood, gentle soul, all supported in the very same way this parody "supports" its claims:

"I don't myself really think this, but I want an honest investigation of the facts, just because of the families of all those innocent victims of Bush / Israel / the Jews / Obama / whomever. Why is it forbidden to ask questions? What are Bush / Israel / the Jews / Obama / whomever trying to hide???"
 
And is accusing him of raping and killing a girl any worse than him hinting that FEMA concentration camps were being set up for Republican detainees or that Obama is a Nazi-in-sheep's clothing who's going to turn America into a Nazi state?

I mean, given the choice between a tyrant and concentration camps and a child murderer, I'd pick the child murderer any day. At least he has less victims.

It's called SATIRE. Beck has been instrumental in spreading a number of false rumors about Obama (we are not talking about disagreements with Obama's policies) and now someone is ridiculing him for it.
It's called satire and humor. Look it up and chill out.
 
I heard it was in 1993, not 1990. I may be wrong but I think he should clear that up.
 
I bet I can prove that Beck DIDN"T exist in 1990. Now that would be a badass conspiracy IMO.


I'm all about satire but I think the guy fake-accusing GB of raping a girl takes away from the point trying to be made with the satire. Glenn Beck smoking crack off a hooker and then murdering her I think would have done the trick.

So it's pointless. I'll tell you exactly how most of those whill react:

"Look at these liberals. They are so bent out of shape over the truth we are spreading about Obama.. now they are doing "tit for tat" with us. They aren't even trying to defend Obama anymore. They are just attacking the credibility of our own people. What a shock. Nothing new. How typical. It shows we are making progress. It shows that we are getting under their skin"

Ultimately, this will end up being nothing but a big high five, backslapping moment for the lefties who think this is so clever. But achievs zilch, and only futher divides us. I'm sick of this mentality.. from either side. It is "tit for tat". It's the same endless circle jerk that continues to get us nowhere.
 
"Tit for tat" would be if anyone was spreading this rumor with the intention that people start thinking of Glenn Beck as a child rapist/murderer. Maybe some people are jumping aboard this meme-train with that intention, but that's dumb. The point of it is obviously not to make Beck look like a criminal, but to show how stupid and dishonest his "arguments" are. That's not tit-for-tat, it is potentially useful, and it's entertaining to boot.
