George Zimmerman shot

When the news first broke, as soon as the words "Zimmerman" and "road rage incident" registered I instantly had a premonition that ...

It wasn't his fault.

It didn't happen the way the other guy said it did.

The other guy started it.

George was the real victim.

Am I becoming psychic? Should I think about applying for the MDC?

Don't know if the was the aggressor or not.
I find that impossible to believe. Given all of the manufactured lies and trumped up charges against him I'm not sure how anyone could ever think Zimmerman was the aggressor in anything. At what point do his detractors admit that he has a giant bullseye on his back that even his girlfriends find so irresistible they can't keep from piling on.

This is sarcasm

Exactly. SG dislikes Z because she thinks he was a hot head, enacting extra-judicial punishment. So she is OK with the idea of some other hot head enacting extra-judicial punishment on Z. ...
No, SG saw the evidence and believes GZ got away with murder.

Zig has falsely accused SG of advocating vigilantism (the very thing that GZ did which led to the death of an innocent teen). That's akin to comparing a comment that one is glad someone got sick, or fired, or fell down the stairs that one is advocating vigilantism. It's a ludicrous interpretation of the comment, too bad.

Funny, every time there is a report of violence in regard to GZ, a gun is always in play.
Do you have any idea how often the average person is accused of violence? Okay, I don't either but I'm sure it's a lot. Look, if people would leave Zimmerman alone none of this would be in the news. Just look at the documented persecution the media has put Zimmerman through. 1 year later: Zimmerman's timeline of trouble

Anyone in the spotlight that much is going to appear to be anti-social. It bothers me when people think Zimmerman should take personal responsibility for his life.

satire

Police recovered three guns, including one possibly used to shoot at George Zimmerman,

I'm going to stick my neck out and say Apperson didn't have all 3 guns.

So, they both have guns, they both say the other threatened them with the gun. One shot so we know he had his gun out. But if it went to court and Apperson said it was self defense, what jury would believe Zimmerman claiming he never had his gun out?

Insufficient evidence, I would think the police won't likely file charges.

Has anyone been able to quote you advocating extra-judicial punishment? That strikes me as a straw man. Ad hominem poisoning of the well. Hey, you have to give it to them, it's a lot easier than dealing with arguments.

:D

I like the claim extra-judicial punishment is OK for terrorists but not for a fellow gun toter.

It doesn't bother me that people want to advocate for GZ. What bothers me is the elevation to hero status of someone who seems incapable of taking personal responsibility of his life and keep his nose clean. That does not excuse what happened to him and if the other person was in fact the aggressor and/or broke the law I want that person prosecuted. End of story.

Regardless, I will never raise Apperson to hero status.

I'm not sure how rolling up a window means the threat has passed. Apperson had already had two encounters with Zimmerman in which he claimed his safety was threatened. If on the third encounter, Zimmerman pulls up alongside him, brandishes a gun and then rolls up his window so Apperson can no longer see what he his doing but knows he has a gun, seems like a pretty clear threat to me.
.

"They have a saying in Chicago Mr Zimmerman. Once is happenstance, Twice is coincidence. The Third time is enemy action."

Zimmerman is clearly a violent :rule10 jerk. It looks like Apperson is probably of similar ilk. It's no surprise they found each other.

The trouble Monday started because Apperson was driving closely behind Zimmerman as he went to a doctor's appointment, according to Zimmerman's lawyer Don West. Zimmerman recognized Apperson from their past run-in, West told The Huffington Post, and he made a U-turn in an attempt to avoid him. As Zimmerman changed direction, Apperson shot through the passenger side window of Zimmerman's truck, West said.

If one is to believe George, how in this scenario is the passenger door exposed to Apperson's fire so it receives two bullet hits?

Yeah, unless I'm missing something, you make a very good point.

A U-turn would expose the driver side, not the passenger side.

Anyone else want to chime in on this? Because I don't see how Zimmerman's passenger window gets hit in the scenario he's describing.
